Membership Responsibilities Attendance 1. Regular attendance in school and participation in NHS activities are required. 2. Meetings will be held multiple times a month you are required to attend one a month. Scholarship 1. Students must maintain their average of 4.00 GPA or higher on the weighted scale. 2. Students whose average falls below 4.00 GPA will be placed on probation and will be allowed one semester to bring their average or GPA into compliance with the scholarship standard. If you choose not to comply then you are telling me you want to be dropped from NHS and your decision will be honored. Service Projects Under the National NHS regulations, each chapter must do service projects in which each member must be actively involved. In addition, each student shall have the responsibility of choosing and participating in individual service projects, which reflect his/her own particular talents and interests. Service Points In order to remain an active member and graduate with NHS honors all service points must be turned in by the deadline given each year. Dues for NHS are twenty (20) dollars per year.
