ACIL is the trade association representing independent, commercial, scientific and testing laboratories. Its members are professional services firms engaged in testing, product certification, consulting, and research and development. Affiliated membership is available to manufacturers laboratories, consultants and suppliers to the industry and related trade associations. ACIL defines independent scientific and engineering services firms as commercial entities engaged in analysis, testing, inspection, materials engineering, sampling, product certification, research and development and related consulting services for the public. They are not affiliated with any institution, company, or trade group that might affect their ability to conduct investigations, render reports, or give professional, objective and unbiased counsel. ACIL 2016 Annual Meeting Exhibitor Guide All contemporary rooms (some with ballpark views) offer custom-designed beds, plus flat-screen TVs and WiFi (fee). Suites add separate living areas. Executive rooms provide free WiFi and access to the Executive Lounge s free breakfast and evening snacks. Why Exhibit? In addition, each participating organization will: be featured in an issue of the ACIL Newsletter and on the ACIL website, receive a half-page ad in the conference program, and be featured on a prominent sign listing all the exhibitors on-site and in the program. Meeting Location: The meeting location will be at the Hilton St. Louis by the Ballpark, 1 S. Broadway, St. Louis, MO 63102. Discounted rooms are available for $169 per night, single/double occupancy, $169 per night, triple/quadruple occupancy. Cancellation: If you are unable to attend, there will be a cancellation fee of 50% as long as you cancel prior to Monday, August 15, 2016. If you cancel after Monday, August 15, 2016 there will be no refund of your registration fees. Sponsorships are non-refundable. Tabletop Assignments: If you require electricity/internet, arrangements must be made through the Hotel. More information will follow in the Exhibitor Manual. ACIL 2016 Annual Meeting Exhibitor Guide Shipping of Booth/Materials: All shipping arrangements MUST be made through the Hotel and should arrive at the hotel no earlier than Monday, September 19, 2016. Complete shipping information will be sent in your confirmation packet and Exhibitor Manual. Liability: The exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, equipment and other property brought upon the premises of the hotel and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark and ACIL any representative, agency or employee while using exhibition facilities. Please note that more detailed information will be included in your Exhibitor Manual. Exhibitor Information: Each exhibitor receives a 6-foot draped tabletop only with two chairs, and ONE full conference registration. Additional registrations can be purchased. Exhibitors will also receive a roster of registrants at least 10 days prior to the conference. Please note that booth, backdrops, and additional chairs are NOT permitted in the exhibit area. Set-up and Break-down of Exhibits: Shipment, set-up and break-down of exhibits will take place on the dates and times specified by ACIL. Set-up and break-down will not begin until the times indicated on page 3 (preliminary schedule of events). We ask that you do not break-down until the time specified. Please plan to staff your tabletop area through Wednesday, September 28, 2016, until 10:30 a.m. Exhibitor Fee: Associate Members (annual dues of $1000 for annual sales under $10M): $1200 includes one conference full registration and table top display. Associate Members (annual dues of $5000 for annual sales over $10M): $749 includes one conference full registration and table top display (discounted registration due to the table top display being included with membership). Payment: All exhibitors must either register by phone, mail or fax your form to the ACIL office. There are five eateries, including a pizzeria and a rooftop bar with fire pits and a 360 degree view of the city. Other amenities include a fitness center, a heated indoor pool, a business center and meeting space. There s also an airport shuttle (fee). Networking Event: Anheuser-Busch Brewery & Ted Drewes Tuesday, 1:30 p.m. 5:00 p.m. (included with full, spouse/guest, or Tuesday registrations; a charge of $35 will be applied for additional guests not registered) Your tour guide will familiarize you with the rich history of the colorful Busch family en route to the King of Beers the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Situated in a 100-acre complex with over 70 red brick structures, the Brewery buildings are known for their unique architecture and several are National Historic Landmarks. During the 45-minute walking tour you will see the World Famous Clydesdales, the Beechwood Aging Cellar, and the Brew House. No visit would be complete without sampling the family of Anheuser-Busch products during the tour! After leaving Anheuser-Busch you re in for one last sweet treat at Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, a St. Louis tradition since 1929. Enjoy a specialty concrete that is so thick you can turn it upside down. Annual Dinner and Banquet at The Cardinals Game Tuesday, 6 p.m. 10 p.m. A one-of-a-kind event that allows you to network with your peers, hang out with your friends, and emjoy a night at the baseball game watching one of the best teams in baseball. Spouse/Guest Tour: Forest Park Meet Me in St. Louis Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. 5:00 p.m. $38 per person Start your day with a beautiful driving overview of Forest Park. Your tour guide will highlight the history of Meet Me in St. Louis at Forest Park - the site of the 1904 World s Fair and one of the largest city parks in the United States. Today, Forest Park is home to the world-renowned Saint Louis Zoo, the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Missouri History Museum, the Saint Louis Science Center and the Muny, the largest outdoor theater in the country, among other attractions. Enjoy a visit to the Missouri History Museum at the Jefferson Memorial. Here you can explore the history of St. Louis from 1764 to the present, including the Lewis & Clark Expedition and the early days of aviation with Charles Lindbergh s historic transatlantic flight. Next, explore the 90-acre Saint Louis Zoo. Begin at The Living World, an interactive visitor and education center. Then visit the more than 3,500 residents living in recreations of their natural habitats. Visit the Saint Louis Art Museum where there is something for everyone from modern art to the Renaissance. Considered one of the top ten art museums in the country, there truly is something exciting around every turn. Finally, at the St. Louis Science Center adults and children alike learn of the wonders of science and technology through hands-on exhibits. While at the Science Center, you will have a chance to explore three floors of exhibits on your own. The motorcoach will shuttle between each attraction and tour guides will provide passengers a shuttle schedule.
