STEP 1: Accessing SunCares
Making a donation: Two options 1. Make a donation to your favourite charity or non-profit organization 2. Explore causes to find charities and non-profits that support a cause you care about
Logging into SunCares for the first time Go to SunCares on The Core and click Access SunCares Select your sharing settings. This information will be shared with the organization(s) you make a donation to. Read the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy before checking the acknowledgment box. Create a unique password Click Submit to be directed to 5 SunCares.
Access SunCares from inside the Suncor network Go to SunCares on The Core and click Access SunCares 6
Access SunCares from outside the Suncor network Go to SunCares on Suncor.com and click Access SunCares Enter your 8-digit employee ID number to login. If your ID number is not 8-digits please add the corresponding zeros at the beginning (1384 would become 00001384). Enter your password Click Sign in 7

Donate Now: How to complete the donation form Once you have selected Donate Now, follow the steps in the form to complete your donation You can make a one-time donation or choose to make a recurring donation via Credit Card, PayPal, Payroll Deduction or by using your Giving Account Balance 19
Donate Now: One-time donations Enter a one-time donation amount Select One-time under Choose a Donation Frequency Select Credit Card, PayPal or Payroll Deduction Once you have entered all your donation information, select Next: Confirm Donation 20
Donate Now: Recurring donation - Payroll Enter the donation amount you would like to make PER PAY CHEQUE. Do not enter a total amount for the year. If you have a yearly donation amount you want to contribute, divide it by 26 (there are 26 pay periods in a year) to get your per-pay donation. E.g., if you want to donate $260 per year then enter $10. Select Recurring under Choose a Donation Frequency. The first payroll deduction will occur January 4, 2018. You have until December 18, 2017 to make any changes you want reflected on your January 4 deduction. Deductions will continue to come off each pay cheque until you edit or cancel your recurring donation in SunCares. Select Payroll Donations Once you have entered all your donation information, select Next: Confirm Donation 21
Donate Now: Recurring donations Credit Card & PayPal Enter the recurring donation amount you would like to have charged to your Credit Card or PayPal account. This is the MONTHLY amount that will be charged to your Credit Card or PayPal account. Select Recurring under Choose a Donation Frequency. Select either Credit Card or PayPal Donations are deducted on the 27 th of each month, until you edit or cancel your recurring donation. Once you have entered all your donation information, select Next: Confirm Donation 22
Donate Now: With your giving account balance Use your Giving Account balance to make your donation. Your Giving Account includes any Rewards you have received through SunCares and/or funds you have previously donated into your account or received through the Three Things for Canada campaign. Donations made from Your Funds account must be donated to a Canadian registered charitable organization or an organization with 501 (c) (3) status in the United States or the international equivalent 23
