AT T IR E Proper attire is required to participate in the commencement ceremony. Here are some recommendations: Ladies Ladies should wear dress or business attire and we recommend low heels. Gentlemen Gentlemen should wear dark dress pants, a light-colored shirt and dressshoes.
REGALIA All graduates must have regalia to participate in the ceremony. Order your regalia from Oak Hall at oakhill.com/scad. Regalia will be mailed to you at the address you provide. Your regalia packet will include: CAP GOWN HOOD TASSEL The deadline to order regalia is Saturday, May 20. Missed the deadline? Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee up until the week before Commencement. Graduate students receive an additional cord designating their degree type. MFA: Gold MA: White
H O N O R S Honors will be awarded to undergraduate students who meet the GPA requirements listed below. Summa Cum Laude 3.9 to 4.0 Magna Cum Laude 3.7 to 3.89 Cum Laude 3.5 to 3.69 Honors cords will be provided by SCAD to qualifying students. Students with honors where sent emails to pick up cords at the registrar s office beginning Monday May 22, 2017. Honors are based on the undergraduate student s cumulative GPA at the end of winter quarter 2017. Honors are not calculated for graduate students.
MANDATORY GRADUATION REHEARSAL Report to the Georgia World Congress Center, Building C, Room C204, Student Room, Friday, June 2 at 4 p.m.
DAY OFCOMMENCEMENT Please report to the Georgia World Congress Center, Building C, Room C204, by 4 p.m. Wear your cap and gown. Follow the line leaders to your designated seat.

CEREMONY TICKETS Tickets are required to attend the commencement ceremony. Each graduate will receive five tickets for the ceremony. Only graduates participating in the ceremony are eligible for tickets. Children under age 2 do not require a ticket.
TICKET PICKUP Pick up your tickets at the Student Success Center, first floor, SCAD Atlanta, May 22 June 2. You must present your SCAD Card to pick up your tickets. Tickets will also be available for pick up at Graduation Rehearsal.

WEBCAST INFORMATION Guests without tickets can watch a live broadcast of the ceremony in the lobby area outside the Georgia Ballroom. The ceremony will stream live at scad.tv for guests who are unable to attend. SCAD COMMENCEMENT
P H O TO G R A P H Y Official photographs will be taken in Student Room C204 prior to the start ofthe ceremony. A proof will be emailed to you four weeks after the ceremony. Please note: Your SCAD student email address will become inactive 90 days after you complete your graduation requirements. Update your personal email address in MySCAD now to ensure delivery of your graduation photo proof.

STUDENT TRANSPORTATION SCAD 2017 Commencement Shuttle service is provided for students to the Georgia World Congress Center for rehearsal Friday, June 2, and to Commencement Saturday, June 3. Shuttles depart at 3 p.m. and run every 15 minutes. Students should meet at the bookstore entrance to catch the shuttles.
GUEST TRANSPORTATION SCAD 2017 Commencement Shuttle service will be provided for family and guests to the Georgia World Congress Center for Commencement on Saturday, June 3. Shuttles depart from SCAD Atlanta at 3 p.m. and run every 15 minutes. Return shuttles from GWCC to SCAD Atlanta depart immediately following the ceremony and run every 15 minutes until 9 p.m.
PARKING AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SCAD 2017 Commencement Parking is available at the Georgia World Congress Center in the Blue Lot, Gold Deck or Red Deck. Standard daily rate for parking is $10. Georgia World Congress Center is accessible from MARTA via the Vine City stop on Northside Drive. A single $2.50 fare covers one-way bus or train trips, including transfers.
CEREMONY REMINDERS Large bags, including backpacks, suitcases, large camera bags and large purses, are not allowed in the Georgia World Congress Center. All purses, bags and packages are subject to inspection before entry to the venue. A designated stroller parking area is located at the courtesy item check-in booth, in the lobby outside the Georgia Ballroom.
CEREMONY REMINDERS You will be permitted to check your keys prior to the start of the ceremony, but you may not store or check any other items. No food or drink is allowed in the Georgia World Congress Center. Switch all electronic devices to silent.
CEREMONY REMINDERS Georgia Ballroom doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Guests may wait in the lobby prior to this time. Tickets are required and guests may not hold or reserve seats.
