APPLICATION FORM The Galactic Unite Borden Scholarships will award five $3000 scholarships to SDSU students interested in and actively pursuing space transportation related design projects or research for the 2014-2015 academic year (starting Aug.2014) and provide students mentorship and access to Galactic Unite educational programs in partnership with Virgin Galactic. Eligibility Requirements. a. Applicants must be SDSU aerospace engineering majors b. Must be enrolled/enrolling in junior or senior year courses for Fall 2014 semester c. Have a minimum 3.0 GPA d. Have demonstrated an interest in space transportation (e.g. participation in SDSU Rocket project, AIAA Space Launch Design competition). e. Two letters of recommendation (SDSU professors or aerospace engineer or professional who has interacted with you in a technical capacity) f.
