Our Mission To engage women in philanthropy, collectively funding high impact grants to nonprofits in the Philadelphia region Formal process enables members to become informed philanthropists through participation in grantmaking Members leverage their donation, through collective giving, to make large, high-impact grants Members are exposed to the work of smaller nonprofits in greater Philadelphia
Our Model Finalists present proposals 100% of women s donations are granted directly to local nonprofits A new focus on Core Mission grants

Why Core Mission Grants Time to evaluate our grant making practices to ensure we are supporting the needs of the local nonprofits Strategic planning process that included research, focus groups, and interviews Strong support to move away from only funding new and expanded projects Unanimous approval by the Strategic Planning Committee and the Board of Directors
Impact100 Core Mission Grants Proposals can focus on: New or expanding primary programs or services, or Necessary improvements to infrastructure, or Other initiatives to strengthen the nonprofit in its work in the region Proposals should explain why the: Impact100 grant will strengthen the organization, and Timing of the Impact100 grant is important, an How the grant will have a high impact now
What Impact100 Will Fund Programs or Services Administration Facilities and Equipment
What Impact100 Will Not Fund Debt reduction, operating deficits, interim or bridge funding, or endowment funding Individuals or private foundations Activities that are religious or political in nature Fund drives, annual appeals, fundraising events, or general capital campaigns
New Focus in LOI & FP Mission & Programs Mission statement and long-term goals History and accomplishments of the organization Primary services and activities; how they support mission Problems addressed with $100,000 grant; outcomes, benchmarks to be achieved Administration & Management Use of data in ongoing work to track outcomes and improve work Financial management practices, fundraising, strategic planning Key staff, Board of Directors, decision making Impact of $100,000 Intended use of funds; strategies, timetable, work plan Importance of funding and the timing of funding; its impact on the organization
Organization Eligibility Tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, independent of a financial sponsor (local affiliates may apply under the 501(c)(3) of the national organization). Located in and serve residents of the counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, or the county of Camden, New Jersey. In possession of at least 3 full years (36 months) of independently prepared, audited or reviewed financial statements. Not a recipient of an Impact100 Philadelphia $100,000 grant in the past three grant cycles.
Organization Preferences Have annual operating budgets above $300,000 and below $5,000,000. Target under-served populations. Highlight unmet needs in the region. Will have a high impact on beneficiaries or communities.
Applicants Should: Propose the use of Impact100 s grant for programs, services, necessary infrastructure, or other initiatives that support the organization s core mission. Submit a proposal budget of at least $100,000 Propose to expend funds within 24 months. Fit within one of our five Focus Areas

Required Financials For Full Proposals Income statement for the most recently completed fiscal year (include projected budget vs. actual) Year to date interim statement for the current fiscal year Project budget (using Impact100 form) Independently prepared financial statements (audit or review) for past 3 full years
Required Financials For Full Proposals IRS form 990, including all Schedules for past 2 years Grant funds must be expended within 24 months Organization may be a part of a larger entity and/or may collaborate with other organizations
