P Y L E E D I T I O N P A G E 5 Tempe Neighbors Helping Neighbors Did you know that Tempe has an organization that helps residents of Tempe who may need help around the house or transportation to doctor appointments, grocery shopping and other errands? The main goal of TNHN is to give enough help to Tempe seniors so that they can continue to live in their own homes as they get older. Members who took a Quality of Life survey after one year of membership reported that they know and talk to more people than they used to, they know how to get help when they need it, they feel more likely to be able to remain in their own homes as they age, they feel less lonely than they did before and their overall quality of life has improved. Studies have shown that seniors who feel more connected to community are healthier and happier! For more information about membership, call (480) 381-8336.
