Taste of Tammany Committee NEWS FROM THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS To assist with the cost of Catholic education, the Louisiana State Council of the Knights of Columbus has a new program called the Catholic School Tuition Lottery Program. This free program helps pay for a child s Catholic school tuition. Members of the Knights of Columbus having children in a Catholic school (from PreK to 12 th grade) are eligible to enroll their children in this free lottery. Non-members can become eligible for the lottery by joining the Knights of Columbus (assuming they are at least 18 years old, male and Catholic). Thus, this program is only open to members of the Knights of Columbus. For details and entry forms, please visit: https://louisianakc.org/programs/youth/tuitionlotter y.pdf. For more information about this program or how someone can join the Knights of Columbus, please contact Delmas Forbes, Jr., at (225) 939-2980 or dcforbes1@cox.net. ROSARY GROUP All Our Lady of the Lake School parents and grandparents are invited to pray the rosary. The OLL School Rosary Group will typically meet the third Wednesday of the month at 7:45 a.m. in the church. Check the schedule below, as some months are irregular. The rosary is a powerful prayer that allows us to meditate on the life of Jesus and to get closer to Christ through his blessed mother, Mary. In the 1950s, Pope Pius XII said, We put great confidence in the Holy Rosary for the healing of evils which afflict our times. Those words ring true still today. Join us as we implore the help of Our Lady and pray this powerful prayer, The Rosary, each month. February 20 March 20 April 17 May 15
