To enter a couple must be sacramentally married for a minimum of 65 years and reside in the Archdiocese of New York. The longest married couples will receive commemorative certificates signed by His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan. The winning couple will be interviewed and featured in an article in Catholic New York. Please take a slip, purchase the suggested item listed, wrap your gift and return it to our Church with the slip attached to your item. Please do not wrap any gift(s) for children. You may place an angel ornament in memory of a loved one or your family (name included for both) on the tree when you remove a slip. The angel will be kept by the Church and will decorate the Jesse tree in future years. All donated gifts will be delivered to Catholic Charities for distribution in our local community and are due by Friday, December 14. 2018. RETIREMENT FUND FOR RELIGIOUS On December 8 and 9, 2018, the Archdiocese will conduct this special collection for the benefit of elderly sisters, brothers and religious order priests. Senior religious were the roots that established Catholic schools, hospitals and social service agencies allowing generations of Catholics to flourish. The example of older religious inspires younger members to persevere in mission and ministry. In thanksgiving for their faithful service, Timothy Cardinal Dolan requests that you give what you can. SAINT JOSEPH S CHURCH 150 th ANNIVERSARY Thank you to each and every member of our Parish Family for making our 150 th Anniversary Mass and Reception a resounding success!! I would like to say thank you to our Parish Council members, Music Ministry, Ushers, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Deacons, Altar Servers, Altar Linens Committee, Carole Argulewicz, Religious Education staff, Kingston Catholic School, Knights of Columbus, our Baking Committee, Parish staff, a myriad of folks who helped with the food and the reception, the parents of our children and young people and a host of people who worked behind the scenes. I would, also, like to thank the folks and businesses who donated items for the reception. We are looking forward to a spring Parish Picnic so more folks can celebrate our 150 th Anniversary.
