BSM to Beantown May 10 th - 13 th, 2019 Benilde-St. Margaret s School 7 th Grade Spring Trip

F.A.Q. What is BSM to Beantown? BSM to Beantown is a spring learning experience for seventh graders that includes classroom instruction and a three-day field experience in Boston, Massachusetts. Where are we going? Classroom sessions will take place in Room 132 at BSM during specific lunch hours. Students will travel by air to Boston, Massachusetts. Who is going? Mr. Adam George and three other BSM teachers will be chaperoning. We have a minimum student participation requirement of 12 students for the trip to take place, and maximum of 24 students who can attend. What s the Cost? The cost for BSM to Beantown will be between $900 and $1300. The final cost will include airfare, hotel, instruction, classroom materials, some meals, and museum & historic site admission fees. Questions? If you have questions about BSM to Beantown, please contact Adam George. The best way is via email (ageorge@bsmschool.org), though I am reachable by phone (952.915.4358, ext. 2213). Want to go? If you are interested in BSM to Beantown please complete and return the registration form to Mr. George. By returning the form to Mr. George, you are authorizing a non-refundable $250.00 deposit for the trip, which will be billed to your tuition statement. There are limited spots available and registration will be determined by lottery if the total number who register is over 24. We need at least 12 students to sign up to participate for the trip to take place. If there is a lottery & your student is put on the Waiting List, or if we do not have 12 students sign up to participate, you will not be charged the initial $250.00 deposit. Students must be in good academic standing and behavioral standing in order to be eligible to participate in this trip. Student tuition accounts must be current in order for a student to participate in this trip. Scholarship money is available for families in need. Please contact Mr. George if you have questions about scholarship money. Students interested in going on the trip must register by Friday, February 15 th, 2019.
