Jesus said, Go... During 2017, First Baptist is offering four opportunities to get out of Rock Hill and work with some of our fantastic mission partners. Each trip is a unique opportunity to share the Good News with people from different cultures and in different settings. The deadline to sign up for our trips is coming soon. Below are details about our 2017 mission trips. More information about the trips can be found on the website at www.fbcrockhill.org/mission-trips. Kenai, Alaska (July 11-19) Cost: $1700 ($250 deposit due by February 12) We are working at the Salmon Frenzy with Alaska Missions and Brenda Crim. Some volunteers will be on the beach reaching campers from out of town, while other volunteers will be involved in projects off the beach to reach the local community. Birmingham, UK (July 23-August 1) Cost: $1950 ($250 deposit due by February 12) Working with IMB Missionaries Kenny and Kristy Dubnick, we will host a children s Backyard Bible Club at Oikos Church on the High Street of Erdington. Part of the week will also be spent handing out invitations for the Bible Club and prayer walking. Rochester, NY (June 7-12) Cost: $150 + airfare ($150 deposit due by February 26) Discovery Church has moved to a new location and is in need of promotions. We will take a team to do door-to-door promotion as well as work with Pastor Elliott Sneed on outreach projects. Kissimmee, FL (September 23-29) Cost: $495 ($150 deposit due by February 26) Give Kids the World Village is a nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, Florida for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. We will be serving those families for a week. Deposits for the trips can be made at the Church Office during the week or given to Jamie at the Servolution table at the back of the Worship Center on Sundays during the month of February.
