Erasmus Mundus in practice Grantees received subsistence allowance, flights and insurance Subsistence allowance large enough to cover living in EU Erasmus Mundus Team in Turku Coordinated the project: organised calls for applications, processed the applications, made proposals for grant decisions, reported the projects, coordinating project budgets Managed the mobilities: made grant payments, booked flights and insurances, guided the partners and the grantees in any questions, hosting grantees coming to Turku

Impact on University of Turku Incoming grantees to Turku: 183 70 exchange students, 24 Master students, 44 doctorate students, 45 post-doc/staff grantees Outgoing grantees from Turku: 35 29 exchange students, 5 staff and 1 doctorate Wide networks from all Erasmus Mundus projects University of Turku known around the world Network helps when applying to new projects (Erasmus+ ICM) Excellency in project administration and mobility issues Impact on academic cooperation researchers, teachers and future academics had seed-funding to start or carry on their joint efforts
