Homecoming Schedule Monday, April 6 Homecoming Kick-Off 4 p.m. Meadows Students will kick off Homecoming Week in the Meadows. Hot dogs, chips, dessert, and drinks will be furnished by the Stafford School of Business and the School of Science & Mathematics with WPLH playing music for the crowd s enjoyment. Mr. ABAC 7 p.m. Howard Don t miss an entertaining evening as male students vie for the coveted Mr. ABAC title. You can marvel at their speaking skills, stage presence, and even their dance moves. This event is sponsored by the Family and Consumer Sciences Club. ($7 at door) Tuesday, April 7 First Tuesday Concert 7 p.m. Chapel Enjoy the sounds of A Night of Broadway Music with a concert that always packs the house. Sit back and relax as beautiful voices take you through a journey in time with different Broadway musical styles. Laser Tag 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Lakeside Lawn Students will enjoy the recreational activity of laser tag as they attempt to score points by tagging targets. This event is sponsored by the Campus Activities Board (CAB), and all equipment and safety gear will be provided. Wednesday, April 8 Honors Day/Employee Reception 3 p.m. Gressette Gymnasium During this annual event, ABAC will recognize those students who have excelled academically. Following the Honors Day program, the faculty and staff will have a reception where service awards will be presented. This is a great occasion when we honor our students and employees.

Alumni vs. Students Softball Game 6:30 p.m. Softball Field It s time again to test age against youth in our softball game. This game is sure to bring some laughter and good times for all involved! Food for spectators and players will be provided by the Baptist Collegiate Ministries. 2014 Alumni vs. Students game Thursday, April 9 Plant Sale 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. ABAC Farm The plants and flowers are always beautiful at this yearly sale. Whether you choose annuals for your yard or vegetable plants for your garden, you will not be disappointed in the quality. Proceeds from this sale benefit the Horticulture Club and the ABAC farm. Spring Choral Concert 7 p.m. Howard Students in the Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and Jazz Choir will be featured in this event which is sure to give the audience a night to remember. Enjoy the musical blend of voices as they resonate throughout the auditorium. Concert 8 p.m. Tractor Pull Arena Ag Awareness Day 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Meadows The Meadows will be jam-packed with clubs from the School of Ag and Natural Resources showcasing different agricultural commodities. The clubs will share facts and information about the impact these products have in the industry and on our economy. Georgia natives Ray Fulcher and Faren Rachels will be our featured artists at this year s Homecoming Concert sponsored by CAB. Come gather around and hear the country tunes of these talented performers. Homecoming King and Queen 2015 will be crowned by Phi Theta Kappa during this popular event.

Friday, April 10 Tennis Tournament 9 a.m. Red Hill Tennis Court Enjoy watching both the Stallions and Fillies tennis teams as they host Georgia Perimeter College in this GCAA tournament. Plant Sale Continues 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. ABAC Farm Alumni Awards and Athletic Hall of Fame 6 p.m. Gressette Gym This event celebrates those among us who have distinguished themselves in their specific fields. Come enjoy a delicious dinner, the company of classmates, and see what great things our alumni have accomplished since leaving campus. Business dress suggested and registration is required. ($30) Parade 2 p.m. ABAC Campus Join the festivities as we show off the clubs and organizations of ABAC in our Homecoming Parade around campus. The parade will begin in the South parking lot and will continue to Moore Hwy where the judging will occur. 2014 Award Recipients Stallion Baseball Game 7 p.m. Stallion Field Cheer on the Stallions as they face off against West Georgia Tech. 2014 Homecoming Parade Grand Marshall, Ethel Arnold Talley, Class of 1927. Gee-Haw Whoa Back Rodeo 7:30 p.m. Rodeo Arena Fillies Softball Games 5 p.m./ 7 p.m. Fillies Field Cheer on the Fillies as they play a double header against West Georgia Tech. A favorite Homecoming event for many, the Gee-Haw Whoa Back Rodeo is once again sanctioned by the Professional Cowboy Association (PCA). (Adults: $10/ Children 6-13: $5/ 5 & Under: Free)

Saturday, April 11 Run for the Nurses 7:30 a.m. Health Sciences These races will have you jogging through the ABAC Campus and the north Tifton area. Proceeds benefit the Lisa Purvis Allison Spirit of Nursing Scholarship Fund. Stallion Day 8 a.m. Dining Hall Potential students have the opportunity to tour campus and learn all about ABAC during this one day event. Folk Life Festival 9 a.m.-4 p.m. GMA Visit the annual celebration showcasing South Georgia history, art, and culture at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture. Highlighting the event is the annual Turpentine Still Firing and Distillation. Guests will also be able to enjoy numerous demonstrations and interactive activities. (Adults: $10/ Seniors 55+: $8/ Children 5+: $5/ 4 & Under: Free) 2014 Folk Life Festival Alumni Cook-Out 11:30 a.m. Outside Gym Ribs, chicken, and sides that will have you going back for seconds will be served during our Alumni Cookout. With amazing food and superb company, you will want to linger under the large tent as long as possible. Reservations required. ($10) Golden Alumni Reunion GMA Enjoy the afternoon with friends as you tour the Georgia Museum of Agriculture. Admission is $8 or free with the purchase of a Golden Alumni Dinner Ticket. Journalism Reunion Alumni House Join others who worked on the yearbooks and other Stallion publications as we enjoy dessert and drinks. Mrs. Helen Strickland plans to attend as we reminisce over the TABAC and photos of the past. (Free-registration requested) Remembrance Service 10:30 a.m. Chapel Gather at the Chapel to pay tribute to those who are currently serving our country as well as ABAC Family members who have passed away this year. This service has scripture reading and congregational singing to celebrate our loved ones. Softball Reunion Fillies Field Celebrate with Coach Donna Campbell as she hangs up her glove as coach. Enjoy dessert and drinks while seeing former players and coaches. You ll want to bring your glove for the pick-up game that will take place this afternoon! (Freeregistration requested)

Yakking with the BOSS Kayak races Lake Baldwin Enjoy a day on the Lake with proceeds benefiting the Stafford School of Business. This event is open to the public as well as alumni and students. ($20) Golden Alumni Dinner 5:30 p.m. GMA Join friends and reunite with classmates during this evening which will include a delicious meal and a DJ to play the tunes of the past. The Class of 1965 will be inducted as Golden Alumni, but this event is open to all. Reservations Required. ($25) Stallion Baseball Games 2 p.m./ 4 p.m. Stallion Field Cheer on the Stallions as they play a double header against West Georgia Tech. Gee-Haw Whoa Back Rodeo 7:30 p.m. Rodeo Arena Enjoy the second round of the PCA rodeo. Students are free thanks to the support of CAB.
