(b) No.and Place of Posting: (01)*, New Delhi (* Subject to Change) For Deputation (including short term contract) Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory administration or Universities or recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or statutory or autonomous organisations:- (A) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; With five years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300 34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- in the parent cadre or department; (B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:- Degree in Law from a recognised university; Two years experience as a Qualified Legal Practitioner. Note: The term "Qualified Legal Practitioner" in relation to this clause means an Advocate or a Pleader who has practiced as such for atleast two years and should have dealt with cases relating to service laws. For Armed Forces Personnel: Deputation/Re-employment: The Armed Forces personnel holding the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer or Chief Petty Officer in the Army, Navy or Air Forces in the Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 plus grade pay of Rs. 4200/- and possessing degree in law from a recognised University who are due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year shall also be considered and if selected, such officers will be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment terms. In case such eligible officers have retired or have been transferred to reserve before the actual selection to the post is made, their appointment will be on re-employment basis. (Re-employment upto the age of superannuation in respect of civil post). (A) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; With two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay scale of Rs. 7500-12000 (revised pay in PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4800) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; (iii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay scale of Rs. 6500-10500 (revised pay in PB-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; (B) Possessing Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Marine or Telecommunication or Industrial Engineering or Naval Architecture from a recognised University or Institution. For Armed Forces Personnel: Deputation or Re-employment: Armed Forces personnel of the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer or equivalent in the appropriate Technical branch of the Army, Navy or Air Force and possessing the educational qualifications as indicated above and is due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year shall also be considered. Officers of the Central Government holding analogous posts on regular basis; With eight years regular service in Pay Band-1 Rs. 5200-20200 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/-. Experience in Armed Forces Headquarters is desirable. 2. The departmental Officers in the feeder grade who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion. 3. For purposes of appointment on deputation basis, the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to 1st January, 2006 or the date from which the revised pay structure based on the 6th CPC recommendations has been extended shall be deemed to be service rendered in the corresponding grade pay or pay scale extended based on the recommendations of the Pay Commission except where there has been merger of more than one pre-revised scale of pay into one grade with a common grade pay/pay scale and where this benefits will extend only for the post(s) for which that Grade Pay or Pay Scale is the normal replacement grade without any upgradation. 4. The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organisation/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The officers selected will be governed by instructions contained in DOP&T OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 17 th June, 2010 as amended from time to time. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be, not exceeding 56 years, as on the closing date of receipt of applications. 5.
