EVANSTON SCHOOL TOUR ASSIGNMENTS Goal of Visit: To observe Wyoming education in action. You will be hosted by students, teachers, and perhaps administrators during your time at the school. We hope you will take the opportunity to observe education not as a student or parent, but as a stakeholder in Wyoming education and our future. Things to Observe: 1. What about the classroom looks the same as when you were in school? What looks different? 2. What are the biggest challenges facing today s students? 3. What are the biggest challenges facing teachers and administrators? 4. Who sets the course for the desired outcomes for this school? A few stakeholder groups to consider: teachers, administrators, parents, community, business, legislature, other? 5. Take note of efforts to support equity in education, as mandated by the Wyoming Constitution. What do these efforts look like? Are they working? 6. If you were principal for a day, what would you celebrate? What would you change?
