Ordinance 1. BY-LAW XVII LOCAL CHAPTER ORDINANCES Sec. 1. This Chapter shall be known as Delta Sigma Chapter, hereinafter referred to as the Chapter, according to the Charter granted by Alpha Chapter of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Incorporated, hereinafter referred to as Fraternity, under the date of September 9, 2000. Sec. 2. Delta Sigma Chapter was incorporated under the laws of the State of Arizona on September 9, 2000. Ordinance 2. Sec. 1. Active brothers shall participate in a minimum of 4 professional (any event sponsored by a professional pharmacy organization, such as a convention or philanthropic event, excluding social events) events per academic year (3 must be KY) while on campus. Ordinance 3. Sec. 1. A prospective member must have completed a minimum of one (1) academic quarter, and be in good academic standing. Pledging will take place in the Fall quarter during the period to last no less than 4 weeks and at a time designated by the college. Pledging should be completed before the termination of the Fall quarter barring any other organization conflicts. Sec. 2. No additions to By-Law III, Sec. 2. Ordinance 4. Sec. 1. The Officers of the Chapter shall be Regent, Vice-Regent, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian, Chaplain, Sergeant-at-Arms, Pledge Masters (2), Activities Coordinators (2), Alumni Coordinator (1) and Grand Council Deputy. Ordinance 5. Sec. 1. Nominations and elections of Pledge Masters will occur within the first month of the Spring quarter. All other executive officer positions nominations and elections will take place within thirty days of the annual Delta Sigma banquet. Sec. 2. No additions to By-Law V, Sec 2. Sec. 3. No additions to By-Law V, Sec. 3. Sec. 4. There will be a transition period between the old and new officers in which the

current officers retain their duties and new officers are officer-elects. New officers will assume their role upon installation, with the exception of pledge masters who will be installed upon election. Sec. 5. No additions to By-Law V, Sec. 5. Sec. 6. The Vice Regent shall organize and coordinate the End-of-Year/Awards Banquet to be held at the end of the Spring Quarter each year. The Vice Regent shall also head the Philanthropy committee. Sec. 3. The Secretary shall submit meeting minutes to the Regent, of other designated party, within one week of a Chapter meeting. The Secretary shall submit names of new initiates and their dues (with the Treasurer) to the Executive Office within one week of initiation for timely receipt of membership certificates and wallet cards. Secretary shall act as province liaison. Secretary shall create a chapter list for each meeting containing all members. This will serve as attendance and used upon entrance to meetings and submitted to the judiciary committee. Sec. 4. No additions to By-Law VI, Sec. 4. Sec. 5. No additions to By-Law VI, Sec. 5. The Historian shall also keep a pictorial record, or collect pictorial accounts, of all official Chapter events and should submit at least one (1) picture with THE MASK article each quarter. Sec. 12. Officers of the Ritual will be appointed at the discretion of the Chaplain or Regent. Sec. 13. No additions to By-Law VI, Sec. 13. Sec. 14. The Pledge Masters (2) shall organize and coordinate any and all pledge activities, including, but not limited to the Pinning Ceremony and Initiation. Sec. 15. The Activities Coordinators (2) shall organize and coordinate any and all social activities. The Activities Coordinators, as chairpersons of the Social Committee, should make their best effort to conduct at least one social event per quarter in accordance. Sec. 16. The Alumni Coordinator (1) shall maintain and update alumni listing and coordinate at least one activity annually with the Arizona Graduate Chapter. Ordinance 7. Sec. 1. The Legislative Committee shall review the Chapter By-Laws and Ordinances at least once per year and shall submit a current copy of the Chapter Ordinances to the Grand Counselor in accordance to dates set forth by the Constitution. The chairperson shall also review the Fraternity website to ensure the most current Chapter Ordinances are posted after submission. The Chairman of this Committee shall be the Chaplain. Sub-Sec. D. Scholarship committee will inform the chapter of applicable Executive Office scholarships available and submit names (with GCD) for applicants eligible for scholarship and scholastic recognition to Executive Council. Sub-Sec. E. The Chairman of the Graduate Relations Committee shall be the Alumni Coordinator.

Sub-Sec. F. The Philanthropic Committee, a subcommittee of the Social Committee, should make their best efforts to conduct or continue at least one philanthropic activity per quarter. Sub-Sec. G. No additions to By-Law VII, Sec. 5, Sub-Sec. G. Sub-Sec H. The Treasurer shall be Chairman of the Finance Committee. The Fundraising Committee, a subcommittee of the Finance Committee, should make their best efforts to conduct or continue at least one fundraiser per quarter. Sub-Sec. I. General Meetings of the Chapter will be held no fewer than nine times during the school year. The Chapter Executive Board will determine the quarterly meeting dates within the first week of each new quarter. Sec. 2. For each member there shall be no more than three unexcused absences or the matter will come before the Judiciary committee. Sec. 3. No additions to By-Law X, Sec. 3.

Each member will incur a twenty dollar per month late fee for dues not paid on time. There will be a fourteen (14) day grace period before fines start to accrue.
