Decoration Take Down January 13 Please consider helping to take down Christmas decorations after the 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, January 13. Decoration set up was a cinch with the help of so many! Thank you to all! Steps in a Journey Resumes January 9 Steps in a Journey meets each Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to noon in Room 6. We will continue studying the Catechism during the first hour and will begin reading Confessions by St. Augustine during the second hour. All are welcome! Special Needs Rosary Group January 12 Families with special needs children of all ages are invited to participate in St. Mary s new Special Needs Rosary Group which will meet in Room 5 of the Father Auer Center on each second Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Our first Rosary meeting will be Saturday, January 12. St. Paul Potluck and Gift Exchange The first St. Paul Mass of the new year will be on Sunday, January 13 at 6:00 p.m. Following Mass there will be a potluck and white elephant gift exchange to celebrate the last day of Christmas. Please celebrate with us, and, if possible, bring a dish to share and a gift of no more than $10 value for the gift exchange! Parish Breakfast January 13 Come out and support the Knights of Columbus at our next parish breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juice on Sunday, January 13 after the 8:00 a.m. Mass. Belles Meeting January 14 The next Belles meeting will be Monday, January 14 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Vincent de Paul office with lunch immediately following at Coconut Kenny s. All ladies of the parish are welcome! Adoration Potluck Save the Date! All adorers are invited and encouraged to join us for the annual Adoration Potluck to be held on Saturday, January 19 at 10:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. No only will valuable information regarding the chapel and perpetual adoration be discussed, but this is also a fine time to enjoy the company of your fellow adorers. Please join us! The March For Life in Olympia will be Tuesday, January 22. We will begin with Mass at 8:00 am at St. Mary, Anacortes and depart by bus at 8:30 am. Signups will begin after Masses the weekend of January 5-6, and continue the following weekend. Bus fare is $20 for adults and children 12 years of age and over; $10 for children ages 5 to 11; and $5 for children under 5. All reserved signups must be paid in advance (all signup fares are final). We will provide an onboard breakfast of muffins, coffee, oranges, and juice for the kids. Each person will need to provide their own lunch. The return trip is scheduled to depart from Olympia at 2:00 pm and to arrive at St. Mary at 5:00 pm. Make your check payable to St. Mary Parish.
