Sustainability, Best Practices and Business: the role of innovation The success of business in development cooperation passes through sustainability: The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as opportunities for the private sector. EXCO2019 is the first and only global expo dedicated to the innovative solutions provided by the actors of development cooperation: national and international agencies, governments, financial institutions, civil society and in particular, the private sector. During EXCO2019, the players active in the field and those willing to enter development cooperation, will have the possibility to meet financial Institutions, Government representatives, development agencies and international organizations, in order to engage in new business relationships aimed at creating partnerships to find solutions for sustainable development. EXCO2019 introduces an innovative bouquet of coordinated formats: EXPO B2B WORKSHOP & CONFERENCE AUCTION FLOOR COUNTRY PITCHES The different formats combination offers exhibitors and participants a complete and structured model of business interaction.

Format #3 Workshop & Conference EXCO2019 is a original platform composed of workshops and conferences centered around the main theme of Job creation and innovation for sustainable development. The organization of this platform will be supported by the EXCO2019 Scientific Committee composed by eminent experts from important sectors and institutions. Format #4 Auction Floor This Format will constitute an event within the event. EXCO2019 will in fact promote, within a dedicated section, a selection of valuable projects that already passed accurate examination under specific criteria, to be presented to potential sponsors, as impact investors and other significant players of the development sector. After attentive selection effected with the support of the European Commission, the promotors of these projects will have the possibility to stage their offer to be viewed by a highly specialized audience: sponsors, exhibitors, foundations, donors, etc. Format #5 Country Pitches Country Pitches is a decisive format, offering governments and delegations a privileged presentation platform of the needs and opportunities of investment more strategic in their countries. This to a highly qualified audience of enterprises and investors, both public and private. High level sessions, to attract the interest of investors in strategic fields of sustainable development, to meet key areas of need in the target countries. A program to offer delegations and officials immediate and direct feedback from the investors, thus creating a favorable environment for investment creation. Sessions and B2B meetings to generate additional interest and response, enhancing and widening the EU-Africa dialogue, and not only, during EXCO2019.
