Services may be provided in the service centre, home or community. Qualifications and Experience Mandatory recognised tertiary qualification in Social Work or Psychology and current registration with AASW (accredited member would be favourable) or AHPRA Experience in disability management and/or paediatrics is preferred. Montrose will support experienced therapists who want to make a transition to paediatric practice. Montrose Therapy and Respite Services The NDIS commences in Queensland with early transition sites in Townsville, Charters Towers and Palm Island from 1 April 2016. Montrose has been providing outreach therapy services to northern Queensland for the past 15 years and is now expanding in Townsville to allow us to continue to work with our existing customers in the area and respond to expected demand for additional services. The Townsville Team will provide local services and also outreach services south to Mackay, north to Cairns and to their surrounding areas. Our approach in Townsville In order to provide improved services to existing customers and to extend our service to those people receiving NDIS packages, we have identified the need to have a permanent office in the area. Our Townsville service centre will initially provide physiotherapy, speech pathology and occupational therapy across all age groups. Services will focus on our existing areas of expertise including neuromuscular conditions and other physical disabilities, early intervention and developmental delay. We look forward to continuing to work with partners in the area and are excited to be able to offer extended services to people in the region. For more information, please see www.montrose.org.au Employment Information Under the Employee Enterprise Agreement 2015, the salary range for full time equivalent is from $56,790.24 gross (Grade 1) to $83,308.16 gross (Grade 2) depending on experience plus 9.5% superannuation.
