FBC Yard Sale October 28 from 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Begin sorting through your attic and basements for items you don t need and donate them to the FBC Yard sale! The group is taking all items EXCEPT: electronics, large furniture, exercise equipment, and tires. We will even accept gently used clothing seasonally appropriate, so just fall and winter clothes please. Items can be dropped off in the church gym on Friday, October 27th. All funds raised will go toward the 2018 mission trip to Plymouth, NC. Come shop on Saturday!
Senior High Fall Retreat The Senior High Fellowship had a fantastic time in New Hampshire this past weekend enjoying games and discussion together. What a great kickoff to our program year! Nicaragua Needs Our Help! Tropical storm Nate hit Nicaragua this past week with near hurricane force. Tricia Harrop safe and continues her work at AMOS: Health and Hope in Managua. Those most adversely affected are in the rural areas that AMOS partners with. Imagine the plight of those living in fragile homes battered by torrential rains and high winds. Discussion with Six At-Large Candidates for Beverly City Council Focus: Human Rights and Social Justice in Beverly October 17th at 7: 30 p.m. Come to First Parish Church at 225 Cabot Street to meet the candidates for Beverly City Council. This event will be moderated by Rev. Kelly Weisman Asprooth-Jackson and hosted is by the Beverly Multifaith Coalition.
Attention Holiday Fair Crafters! Now is the time to reserve your space for the biggest fair in downtown Beverly! Booths on the street level are $45 for approximately 8 x5. We will supply an 8 foot table and chairs if you wish; if you need electricity, we will be sure that you have it available. Reservations are on a first-come-first served basis, so please send in your reservation now to avoid disappointment. Checks should be made payable to First Baptist Church in Beverly. The fee is not refundable.
