( ) Delbert Howard Fraternal Order of Eagles #2548 Scholarship - This scholarship is to assist students attending a post-secondary institution. No specific area of study is required. Applicants who are related to members of the Eagles #2548, both living and deceased, are strongly encouraged to apply. However, it is not a requirement. ( ) Jasper County Republican Women Scholarship - The Jasper County Republican Women s organization will be offering a scholarship to a graduating senior from RCHS. Applicant must be a US citizen, a Jasper County resident and registered to vote. A one-page essay entitled Why I Feel it is Important to Vote must be attached to your application. ( ) Kellner and Callahan Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to a RCHS graduating senior, male or female, who has been active in FFA at least 3 years and has volunteered his/her time by working at 3 or more FFA breakfasts. The winner must be planning to further his/her education in agriculture. ( ) Kentland Bank Scholarship - This $1,500.00 scholarship is available to any graduating senior who plans to attend a four-year college or university. ( ) Kosanovich McDonald s Scholarship - This $1,000.00 scholarship will be awarded to a 2019 graduate of RCHS who is planning to attend an agricultural based college. The applicant must have taken agricultural classes during high school and be active in extracurricular activities with an emphasis on FFA. ( ) Marge Robinson Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship is sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Eagles. It was created in memory of Marge Robinson, who was actively involved with the Eagles. This award will be given to a RCHS graduating senior to assist with the cost of attending a post-secondary institution. There is no specific area of study and no minimum GPA required to apply. Page 1
( ) Psi Iota Xi Sorority - Graduating seniors and current college students in the fields of speech and hearing, art, music, literature, and special education may apply. Priority is given to those students in speech and hearing. ( ) Rensselaer Alumni Association - Awards will be given to students who are planning to attend a technical or vocational school (2-year program or junior college). ( ) Rensselaer Central Classroom Teachers Association - This scholarship will be awarded to students who are pursuing a professional career in education. ( ) Rensselaer Lions Club Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to any graduating senior who plans to attend college or a technical/vocational school (2-year program or junior college). This is a non-renewable scholarship. ( ) Sam Agent Memorial PINK Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to a RCHS graduating senior who plans to further his/her education by pursuing a career in the medical field. ( ) Sigma Alpha Chi Sorority Academic Scholarship - This is an academic scholarship for a student who is planning to attend a four-year college or university. ( ) Sigma Alpha Chi Sorority LaRue Medical Scholarship - This award is for a student who is planning a career in the medical field. ( ) Suzy Culp Agricultural Scholarship - This $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to a female RCHS graduating senior who has been active in FFA at least 3 years and will be attending a 2 or 4 year college or university majoring in agriculture.
