Lincoln County Supporting Incentives Lincoln County is diligent in keeping the cost of government low as an incentive for local industry expansion and provides an attractive environment for new industry locations. To further support initial costs associated with local industry expansions as well as new location of industries, Lincoln County has adopted an Industrial Development Incentive Grant Program. The maximum amount of the financial grant is determined in accordance with the provisions of the program and specified in the contract between the County and the company. For qualifying capital investment by new or expanding industries, the financial grant incentive is calculated based on the prevailing property tax rate at the time of contract execution and paid direct to the company over a 5 or 7 year period. The minimum capital investment threshold is $1,000,000.
