Free Hall of Fame admission ATLANTA - June 15, 2016 - The National Football Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fame & Chick-fil-A Fan Experience are honored to announce that starting today, all active duty and retired service men and women will receive free admission to the Hall, year-round.* General Douglas MacArthur was one of the early leaders of the National Football Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fame, helping to launch the organization in the 1950s. Through his legacy, the organization has long strived to recognize and uphold the values demonstrated by the members of our armed forces. Offering free admission to the Hall, in Atlanta, is the least we can do to honor their sacrifice, said Steve Hatchell, president and CEO of the National Football Foundation. The College Football Hall of Fame is honored to have recognized many members from the service academies over the years, with 48 combined inductees from the United States Military Academy, the United States Naval Academy and the United States Air Force Academy. The College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience, located in downtown Atlanta, combines the pageantry and timeless traditions of the game with state-of-the-art interactive experiences paying tribute to the game s greatest fans, players and coaches. We couldn t be more honored to welcome those who have served our country to experience the Hall, said Dennis Adamovich, CEO of the College Football Hall of Fame and Chick-fil-A Fan Experience. *Free admission for active duty and retired service men and women requires a valid military ID. 9
