In addition to the instructions and Guidelines given by State NSS Cell and Regional Centre Hyderabad, please make note of the following instructions also. Please forward list of participants and events, travel plans on or before 15.02.2018. So it is necessary to make arrangements for Accommodation /Food. Accommodation will be provided from 25 th February, 2018. The team members are advised to plan to reach SVVU by evening of 25 th February, 2018 and Registration starts at 4 P.M. on 25 th February, 2018 in Auditorium, College of Veterinary Science, Tirupati. Inaugural procession starts at 9:30 A.M. All the participants are to participate in traditional dress with musical instruments etc., along with University Banner. Followed by Rally, Formal Inaugural Function will be conducted. Submit volunteer s registration fee, forms of indemnity bond, volunteer ship certificate and a copy of college identity card at Registration Counter. Be available at venue of the events as notified in schedule (will be displayed on NSS Notice Board). Central announcement team will be notifying the instructions from time to time. Bring required bedding (at least two blankets each) items. Bring your own material required for competitions (Ex: Paints, Colours, items for Rangoli, musical instruments, songs CDs etc.) For details about events contact organizers of that event. Follow instructions giving from time to time. As NSS will not encourage lavishness, only working food will be provided for out station participants. In exhibition area you can display photos, newspaper clippings, posters, related to your NSS activities. Best exhibits will get appreciation certificate. GUIDELLINES FOR N.S.S YOUTH FESTIVAL NSS Youth Festivals are being organized with a purpose to provide opportunities to the NSS Volunteers to sharpen their latent talents and express their views on various social issues utilizing various art forms. The students in the process develop their personality as their social consciousness and they are made to think on vital national issues. The objective of the Youth Festivals is also to provide opportunities to maximum number of NSS volunteers to exhibit/present their talents rather than winning prizes. The following set of guidelines of framed to facilitate smooth conduct of the Youth Festivals by NSS functionaries in Andhra Pradesh. A. Selection of Volunteers: 1. The student volunteers selected to participate in the NSS Youth Festival should be bonafide NSS volunteers and bring with their ID proof of the College and the volunteer ship certificate. 2. He/She should be a successful volunteer in the college/+2 system and should have participated regularly in NSS activities in the College. 3. He/She should by physically fit. 4. He/She should have communication skills. 5. He/She should be in the group of 15-25 years 6. The ratio between male and female volunteers as far as possible should be in 1:1. 7. NSS volunteers who had already participated in the State level NSS Youth Festival shall not be selected again to participate in the State Level Youth Festivals. 8. Accompanists for the performers in songs, dance, etc., should be only NSS Volunteers 9. One volunteer is eligible to particular in one event only 10. Same Team Leader should not be sent again with the team. 11. All the participating Volunteers should bring their indemnity bond along with them and submit it to the organizers at the time of reporting. 12. The declaration of the organizers is final in all the issues. B. Activities for the Youth Festival: The competitions/activities organized during the Youth Festival should be based on the theme Agricultural and Rural Livelihood,, which is related to NSS activities/programmes and social and national issues. All the relevant activities will be based the theme chosen for the festival. The following activities/programme may be organized at various levels of Youth Festival.

Each team will put an exhibition on NSS activities of their University with posters, photographs, medals, news paper clippings etc. The winner will get the prizes and the best team shall have over all Championship trophy. All the participants will be given certificates.
