He practices primarily in the areas of local governmental liability, civil rights and constitutional litigation, employment, commercial disputes and professional malpractice, both at the trial level and on appeal. He frequently serves as a court-appointed mediator in civil litigation for federal and state courts. He also regularly represents clients in general civil and insurance defense litigation. Mr. Royer also litigates insurance coverage disputes. Honors and Awards Mr. Royer has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America since 2005.
