SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES Applicants Must: Be female or male high school seniors graduating in spring 2019, from a high school in the districts of Aldine, Cypress-Fairbanks, Humble, Klein, or Spring. Reside within the districts of Aldine, Cypress-Fairbanks, Humble, Klein, or Spring. Plan to attend a four-year college or university. Attend the scholarship awards banquet held in April 2019, if chosen as a scholarship recipient. The Application Must: Be typed or printed legibly in black ink Be completed in its entirety The Application Must Include the Following: An official transcript A copy of recent SAT or ACT scores A recent photo suitable for publication (no photos generated from a cell phone) A typewritten essay of 300-500 words using the prompt below. PROMPT: Describe your family, home, neighborhood, community or environment in which you were raised and explain how it has shaped you as a person. Two (2) letters of recommendation 1. One from a school official of the high school you are attending 2.
