Member of Electoral College from Michigan. 1979 1980 As County Chairman, was ex-officio member of all standing committees (Precinct Division, Voter I.D., Candidate Recruitment, Speakers Bureau, to name just a few of the 18 standing committees). Started the new youth program, Future Leaders of America. Set three priorities to push during my term and did accomplished: 1) To completely update Voter I.D. file (10,000 volunteer hours later and 250,000 names We did it). 2) Set aside $50,000.00 in cash for direct assistance to candidates. 3) Establish and make 50,000 telephone calls in the Phone Center. (In fact, we made 55,000 phone calls and took number 1 state position.)
