If you need more information contact the Hill County Extension office. Self Determined and Independent Study Project Plans There are several members that are enrolled in independent study and self determined projects this year. According to the guidelines for the self-determined and independent study projects, you must develop a plan and have it approved by the extension office. This is a little different from what the Montana 4-H Clover states. However, in the past, these two projects have often been used as a catch all category for 4-H projects and that is not their intent. If you are enrolled in a self-determined or independent study project, work with your leader to develop goals, method, procedure, etc., and bring them to the extension office by February 15th for approval. If not submitted, you will not be able to exhibit those projects at the fair. The form is included with this email or available at the Extension Office. ATTENTION: High School Seniors and College Students Montana 4-H Foundation Scholarship applications must be postmarked on or before April 1, 2017.
