The Ochsner Laboratory Network is comprised of full-service laboratories and outpatient clinic laboratories. Laboratory Network Ochsner labs provide clinical internship programs for Med Techs (CLS) and Med Lab Techs (CLTs) as well as phlebotomy clinical rotations for area universities, community colleges and technical schools. Ochsner employees have opportunities to work in large specialized labs, small community hospital labs, satellite clinic labs and outpatient clinic laboratories. Pharmacy Specialties Ochsner s Pharmacy Department is made up of separate inpatient and outpatient pharmacies as well as the largest integrated specialty pharmacy in our region. Each specialty team provides administrative, clinical and distributive services to both hospital and clinic patients. Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans has a team of about 40 Clinical Pharmacy Specialists.
