DeEtta Wood Achievement and Leadership Awards Endowment DeEtta Wood left her mark as an uncommonly bright, dedicated, and gracious woman. Through her and her family's passion as Angus cattle producers and enthusiasts, she was a past president of the North Carolina Angus Auxiliary and a former advisor of the North Carolina Junior Angus Association. Her passion for helping Angus youth was evident in her dedication to every aspect of her involvement within this industry. That passion will continue to reach countless young people throughout the years. This achievement and leadership award will be issued for outstanding achievements at county, state, or national level. DeEtta fully supported those North Carolina Junior Angus members who traveled many miles to participate in shows, gain leadership abilities, and support fellow Angus youth and the Angus community. The DeEtta Wood Memorial Fund in The Angus Foundation will support an achievement and leadership award endowment annually to three deserving North Carolina Junior Angus members who exhibit excellence in Angus involvement and character. Achievements are from November 1st of last year to October 31st of this year only. Please limit your responses to the space provided. To qualify for this award, the applicant must be a Junior (8-13), Intermediate (14-17), or Senior (18-21) member of the North Carolina Junior Angus Association and the National Junior Angus Association.
