Operations Group Parade The Operations Group Parade is a major event of the Group. The Parade incorporates the passing out ceremony of Officer Trainees and Recruit Cadets as well as certificate presentation to the overage cadets in the year of 2017. All members under the Group are obliged to take part in this important event and show their support. Parents and family members are also cordially invited to witness the remarkable event. 2. Remarks: (i) Full-size medals, ribbons, lanyards are to be worn. (ii) Escorting Officers, Parade Commander, Parade Adjutant, Parade Warrant Officer, Guard Commander, Guard Junior Officer, members of the Standard Parties & Standard Guards, Squadron Commanders and Stick Orderlies shall wear white gloves. (iii) Flight Commanders and Squadron Warrant Officers shall wear leather gloves. (iv) Members of the Standard Guards shall wear white ceremonial belt. (v) Female members on parade with Standards, swords, rifles or orderly s swagger sticks shall wear slacks. (vi) Blue-Grey sashes are to be worn by Parade Warrant Officer, Squadron Warrant Officers, Stick Orderlies and Markers and Guides of Standard Guards. (vii) Nametags are not to be worn by members on parade. (viii) No optional items in particular stable belts are to be worn. (iv) Female members are to keep their hair neat and tidy and above the collar of the shirt/tunic. No ponytails are allowed. (x) The remarks should be read in conjunction with Dress Regulations issued by HQ. (xi) Horseshoe heel tacks are not allowed. 10. Transportation Transportation will be arranged for pre-registered members on parade in the morning of 23 April 2017. 11. Assembly and Reporting All members are to muster at the parade ground and report to the Parade Warrant Officer at 0830hrs on 23 April 2017. 12. Catering Arrangements Lunch will be provided for members on Parade and working parties. Members are reminded to bring along sufficient water for personal consumption. 13. After Parade Refreshments Refreshments will be arranged immediately after the Parade at the Officers' Mess for VIPs. 14. Bad Weather Arrangement The arrangement for the Parade shall follow the regulations issued by HQ. Page 6 of 7
15. Security In view of the operational requirement of the parade venue, all Corps members and their guests are to stringently comply with the security and safety procedures in force within the PTU HQ premises. Trespassing or photo taking is prohibited in the restricted areas as indicated by signage or as directed by working party.
