The SEARS time must be made up before the end of the 9 weeks which is Friday, October 20. If a student

Cancer Awareness Week will culminate with a "Dig Pink" Volleyball game on Thursday night and a "Pink Out" Football game on Friday night. The LHS Counseling Department would like to offer our students an opportunity to participate in a Grief Group. If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, we would love to help you with your grieving process. Sometimes it helps to be with others who have suffered a loss of a loved one. Our goal for this group is to learn about the process of grieving and the unfamiliar emotions associated with grief. If you would like to know more, please contact Ms. Hill at jhill2@lexington1.net The South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities is a public residential high school for emerging artists. The school gives artistically talented high school students from across the state the opportunity to study their art in a supportive environment of artistic and academic excellence. Arts concentrations include Creative Writing, Dance, Drama, Music and Visual Arts. On Monday, October 16 at 2:15 p.m. in Room B210 a representative from the Governor's School for the Arts will visit us with additional information about their program.
