Outgoing-Ingoing Students - 1 Erasmus (EU, EEA, Croatia, Turkey) 370 partners ca. 2400 students/year Participating students benefit from a simplified enrolment process at the host university, they receive a mobility grant and are exempt from tuition fees. ERASMUS Internships Regular students of the University of Vienna can apply for a scholarship for a self organized internship in one of the European countries participating in the ERASMUS program. Excellent opportunity to build-up collaborations whenever an Erasmus Agreement does not exist between the two Universities - Ideal for personal connections between scientists Non-EU Student Exchange (extra-european mobility, Russia, Ukraine) Spending one or two semesters at a partner university. This is possible, if the desired host university has concluded an exchange agreement with the University of Vienna (for all faculties or only for the field of study in question) and if the student is nominated by the University of Vienna for a Non-EU Student Exchange period abroad. Grants will be awarded depending on the funds available. 4
Outgoing Students - 2 ERASMUS International Mobility (extra-european mobility with Erasmus+) This program is designed for our Master and PhD students of selected study fields who want to spend one semester abroad at one of our partner universities. Short-term grant abroad (Kurzfristige Auslandsstipendien, KWA) Diploma, doctoral, master or PhD students who wish to carry out indispensable work abroad (laboratory work, field studies or research in archives, libraries, scientific collections, etc.) are offered the possibilty of applying for a short-term grant abroad 2 week minimum; 3 months max. Applicants with an employment contract who are granted leave of absence on full pay will receive 50 % of the monthly grant if their net monthly salary exceeds 1.500.
