Children s Art Competition 2010 - Care for Your Pet A pet can be fun to have but it is also a living thing that needs to be cared for its entire lifetime, just like a human child. Caring for a pet includes giving them proper meals, a good place to stay, grooming and medical care. It also means taking time out to play and teach them and making sure they have sufficient exercise. Giving your pet proper care is rewarding because a well cared-for pet is the basis of a happy owner-pet friendship! Show us your idea of Care for Your Pet in a painting or other artwork and stand to win a cash prize and have your artwork on pocket calendars for 2011! Participation is free of charge and open to children in primary one to six. For more details, log in to the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) s Pet Central website at www.petsforlife.com.sg.
