ANNUAL CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL The 2015-2016 Annual Catholic Services Appeal (A.C.S.A.). This year our assessment is $48,590.00. The theme for this year s appeal is Sharing the Joy of the Gospel. Please consider donating to the Annual Catholic Services Appeal so we can meet our goal this year. So far this year we have collected $19,118.76 for this year s appeal. We at St. Patrick s offer parents the opportunity to attend a Baptismal preparation session six times throughout the year. If you are expecting a child and anticipate Baptism, you are urged to attend a session as soon as possible. There is no need to wait until the child is born. Please call the parish office at 562-5396 to register and attend a session that is most convenient for you. ALL SESSIONS ARE HELD IN THE RECTORY BASEMENT, Immediately after the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass on the appointed date. The next Pre-Baptismal class will be held Sunday, May 15, after the 10:30 Mass in the rectory basement. You are most welcome & encouraged to attend the class while you are expecting, so the Baptism can be scheduled as soon as possible after the birth. Registration is required. Please call the parish office 217-5652-5396.

LOAVES & FISHES FOOD PANTRY The Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry will be collecting food and nonperishable items EVERY Saturday and Sunday. Baskets will be left in the vestibule of the Church for your convenience. Please remember those who have very little. One canned good/item from each family one weekend a month can make a difference. Food Pantry is open on Mondays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and Fridays 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The next working day for volunteers from St. Patrick s Church is Friday, April 29. NOTICE CEMETERY RULES & REGULATIONS Ground decorations, when allowed, shall be in unbreakable and shatterproof containers. The use of wire to secure decorations of any kind will not be permitted. The use of stone and decorative edging will not be allowed. The use of statues and votive candles is discouraged. The use of temporary grave markers will not be allowed or any grave markers made of wood, steel, or other materials that have a short life span. THE RULES AND REGULATIONS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED SO ANY GROUND DECORATIONS THAT ARE NOT REMOVED WILL BE DISCARDED. MOSTACCIOLI DINNER St. Patrick s Mostaccioli Dinner will be held on Sunday, April 24 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. ALL YOU CAN EAT cost is Adults $8.00, K-12 years $5.00 and 3 & under free. Carry-outs are available at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Dinner Tickets and Raffle tickets will be sold at the door. Thank you for your support with the Mostaccioli Dinner. LUCKY LEPRECHAUN DRAWING The Annual Sacred Heart School Lucky Leprechaun Drawing will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Pana K of C Hall following the St. Patrick s Church Mostaccioli Dinner. Tickets will still be available for purchase at the Dinner. The cost for a ticket is $50.00 each for a chance to win $25,000. You do not need to be present to win.

SACRED HEART SCHOOL TUITION REGISTRATION AND KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION FOR 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR Sacred Heart School will be holding both all school tuition registration and Kindergarten registration on the same dates and times: Thursday, May 12 th and Friday, May 13 th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All Kindergarten parents must go to the Parish office first for tuition registration and then go to the school office for Kindergarten registration. Kindergarten parents should provide the following by the first day of school: 1. Proof of having a health examination. 2. Proof of having a dental examination or you must sign a waiver. 3. Proof of having an eye examination by a licensed optometrist or you must sign a waiver. 4. Proof of having a lead screening. 5. Proof of having received immunizations against preventable, communicable diseases. 6 Proof of having 2 nd Varicella injection. 7. Copy of birth certificate. (Must be a certified copy from the court house) Parents will receive physical, dental, and eye exam forms at this time, if needed. If you are unable to attend either of these two dates or need further information, please contact Teresa Pollman at Sacred Heart School office at 562-2425 or Chrisy Nollman at St. Patrick s Church office 562-5396. NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER Hosted by Faith-In-Action & Quad Co. Home Health & Hospice on Thursday May 5 at Pana Kitchell Park Chautauqua. Kick-off time is 5:00 pm. Refreshments provided by PCH Dietary Dept. GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP Embrace, a Quad County Grief Support Group, meetings are held on the 1 st & 3 rd Thursdays of every month from 6:30-7:30 pm in the private dining room at Hickory Estates of Pana. Losing someone you love or care about deeply is very painful. You may experience all kinds of difficult emotions and sadness. These are normal reactions to a significant loss. Join us in helping each other to cope, renew, and heal. All ages are welcome.
