REGISTRATION Registration opens February 14. Register online at mdrt.org/2017am. Registration is open to 2017 approved members on a first-come, first-served basis. Members are encouraged to book their hotel room at the same time as registration. During the Annual Meeting, Registration will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in South Concourse Hall B. REGISTRATION FEES AND DEADLINE DATES All funds must be in U.S. dollars (USD) and should be paid by credit card through Experient, MDRT s third party registration company. REGISTER EARLY! Availability is not guaranteed. Registration has closed prior to the beginning of the meeting in past years. Cancellation received on or before May 4, 2017 VISA DENIALS Members who are denied a United States visa are eligible to receive a full refund for the meeting registration fee only if official documentation of their visa denial is provided to MDRT at mdrt@experient-inc.com by June 3, 2017. MDRT cannot process refunds for visa denials received after June 3, 2017. HOTELS HOUSING INFORMATION AND DEADLINES Members must be registered for the meeting to secure a hotel room and are encouraged to do so at the time of registration. Availability is not guaranteed. Members are able to reserve one room. The deadline to book a room at an MDRT official hotel is April 27, 2017, unless the room block sells out sooner. Individuals registering for the Annual Meeting grant permission for MDRT, its housing agency and other designees to use the information contained in their registration to secure housing and to finalize their registration. Should individuals book direct with any official hotel and/or overflow hotel, the individuals authorize the hotel and MDRT, its housing agency and other designees to access the information contained in their registration. SESSION TYPES MAIN PLATFORM Provides an opportunity for all attendees to gather and hear from both member and nonmember speakers whose presentations will inspire, motivate, educate and entertain. CORNERSTONE PRESENTATIONS Offer a more in-depth, concentrated look at topics such as sales strategies, practice management, technology and health and wellness. Attendees can choose from concurrent presentations, which will be interpreted into multiple languages. NEW TIME MDRT SPEAKS A series of innovative and creative business concepts delivered by members in a variety of formats. Attendees will leave this fast-paced session with ideas to improve productivity and business practices. SPECIAL SESSIONS Provide attendees new tools and ideas for personal and professional development and provide an in-depth look at a variety of topics. Breakfast and Lunch Sessions require a fee to be paid at the time of registration. All require a ticket. FOCUS SESSIONS These sessions are open to all attendees and offer educational and technical content to help you stay on top of your game, professionally and personally. ECHO SESSIONS Engaging, conversational-style sessions led by facilitators who share a session s highlights and takeaways, and lead the discussion on how to put the information to use for further professional development. IDEA EXCHANGES Allow members to share their best sales, practice management and marketing ideas in interactive sessions facilitated by a moderator. GROUND TRANSPORTATION Shuttles and taxis are both available to get from the Orlando International Airport to your hotel.
