Sir! Madam, Reference is invited to this Department's circular of even number dated 4 th November 2009 inviting nominations for the above mentioned training programme to be held at IIPA, New Delhi from l g July, 2010 to 31" March, 2011. 2. The nomination of officers listed at Annexure-I have been accepted for the 36th Advanced Professional Programme in Public Administration (36 th APPPA) subject to the following conditions:- No course fee is payable. However, sponsoring Ministry/Department/Office should undertake to bear all other expenses on training of officers; The Sponsoring Ministry/Department/Office should undertake to pay the pay and allowances and other entitlements in respect of the officer(s) throughout the duration of the course; An amount of Rs. 2.36 lakh- (Rupee two lakh thirty six thousand only) would be remitted by the sponsoring organizations to the Registrar, Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), by 15th July, 2010 to cover cost of preparation of dissertation/field visit, village study, urban study and foreign study visit in respect of each participant under intimation to this Department. After completion of the training, sponsoring organizations may settle their accounts with the IIPA in consultation with their officer(s) concerned. During the course, the officer(s) would be entitled to the terms indicated in para 8 of this Department's circular of even number dated 4th November 2009. The officers who are on central deputation under Central Staffing Scheme and whose tenure at the centre ends during the programme or within three months after the programme are liable to be repatriated to their parent cadre after completion of the programme.

An ad hoc allowance of Rs. 3000/- (Rupee three thousand only) for purchase of books stationery etc. will be sanctioned to the participants by sponsoring organizations from their contingent expenditure; During the course, the officer(s) would not be released to take up any other assignment/deputation; The officer(s) may be withdrawn from the course by the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), in case of their performance being unsatisfactory. It is requested that a formal communication confirming the acceptance of the conditions referred to in Para 2 above, may please be sent to this Department immediately latest by 10-6- 2010. Please note that the course will be commenced on 1 st July 2010 and the participants are required to report to the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), Indraprastha Estate, Ring Road, -110002. The officer(s) concerned may please be informed accordingly. The sponsoring organizations are also requested to kindly obtain vigilance clearances and cadre clearance (clearance from State Government in case of IAS/ IPS and IFS officers) in respect of the officer (s) nominated by them before joining the program. 5. Since last minute withdrawal causes considerable difficulties, the participation of the officer(s) sponsored by you may also kindly be confirmed by return fax.
