Main Previous Work -Visited by Overseas Senior Officials 1.Seeking sound cooperation relations with EU countries EUPIC has welcomed the visits by Mr. Herman Van Rompuy-president of the European Council, Mr. Tony Blair-the former British Prime Minister, Ms. Angela Merkel- the German Chancellor, Mr. Markus Ederer- the EU ambassador to China and Mr. Jean-Luc Dehaene- former Prime Minister of Belgium. There are more than 3000 person-time of senior officials from EU members, international organizations and enterprises from Belgium,Poland, Germany, Czech, Spain, Italy and UK etc.

Execute cooperative projects between EU and China Successfully organized 10 editions of EU-China Business &Technology Cooperation Fair During the past 10 editions of the Fair, there were total 2,650 European companies and 4,800 Chinese companies having attended this event. And more than 23,000 B2B matchmaking meetings have been organized. Totally there are 1,659 contracts and intention agreements signed and 58 seminars and forums organized. EU-China BTCF has become the most highlighted event in WCIF(West China International Fair) and the EU-China international cooperation platform.

Main Previous Work: International Clusters Cooperation Organizing 4 editions of Sino-France/EU Innovation Clusters Cooperation Forum On October 17, 2010, Sino-France Innovation Clusters Cooperation Forum was held in Chengdu. Mr. Cao Jianlin, deputy minister of MoST, Mr. Luc Rousseau, deputy minister of French Industry Ministry, and more than 200 attendees from national clusters, research organizations and companies participated in this forum. On Sep. 27, 2011, the 2nd Sino-France Innovation Clusters Cooperation Forum was held in Montpellier, France. Attendees include government officials from MOST,TORCH, Sichuan Government and more than 300 participants from various clusters and enterprises from China and France. Oct 22, 2014, the 3rd EU-China Cluster Cooperation Seminar held in Chengdu. Participants include DG Enterprise and Industry, EU delegation to China and 15 European clusters from over 10 countries and 32 Chinese clusters throughout the country, with a total number of over 150 participants.
Main Previous Work: Going out 2014 West China Business Delegation to Europe June 11-21,2014, EUPIC organized a business mission of 82 participants making a fruitful business visit to Belgium, the Czech Republic and Germany. During the visit, EU-China Innovation Cooperation Forum, Sino-Czech General Aviation Forum and Sino-Germany Projects Promotion and B2B meetings held between Chinese and European organizations have been organized. Also the government leaders from China and the Czech Republic have jointly signed the Memorandum of Sino-Czech General Aviation Clusters Cooperation.
Main Previous Work: Going out 2015 Hi-Tech Business Delegation to Europe June 3-13, 2015, EUPIC organized a business mission of 66 participants making a fruitful business visit to Poland and Italy. During the visit, Lodz (Poland) Sichuan (China) Economic Cooperation Seminar, EU-CHINA Days: Joint Cooperation to Enhance Investments and Business Opportunities and B2B meetings held between Chinese and European organizations have been organized. Also the government leaders from China and the Sicily (Italy) have jointly signed the Memorandum of Cooperation between Sichuan and Sicily.

Main Achievements 4 Sino-EU company cooperation projects Successfully promoted more than 40 international business cooperation and projects with a total value of RMB500 million and driven the relative industrial value of RMB2 billion. These projects and cooperation have improved innovation and international competitiveness of the SMEs from China and Europe. Some Chinese companies such as Forward Technology, Alltech Medical, Guibao Sealants, Tongwei Group and Tiger Microwave etc. have cooperated with European partners in joint technology R&D, technology transfer and direct investments.

Overview Nov 5, 2015, EU Project Innovation Centre (Qingdao) and Enterprise Europe Network(EEN) North China settled in Qingdao High-tech Zone. It has strong support from the European Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People s Republic of China,Qingdao Municipal Government, especially Qingdao High-tech Zone government. It is a comprehensive service platform for the cooperation between EU and North China, especially for Qingdao.

EU-China (Qingdao) Business & Technology Cooperation Fair X The EU-China Fair was built around several interlocked events, including: the EU-China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum, the EU-China Maritime and High End Machinery Equipment Industry Cooperation Seminar, the EU-China Energy and Environmental Protection Seminar, the exploration of Qingdao development potential through the visit at the High-Tech Zone, along with the Matchmaking Meetings and all the Exhibition activities. Nearly 100 representatives of governments, institutions and enterprises from Europe, as well as more than 320 representatives of Chinese enterprises participated to the Fair.
EU-China (Qingdao) Business & Technology Cooperation Fair X November 6, 2015 More than 300 Matchmaking Meetings were held at Shangri-La Hotel, Qingdao. Over 160 Chinese and European companies has been engaged in one-to-one business meetings focusing on cooperation in the sectors of new energy, environmental protection, new material, bio-pharmaceuticals, ICT, shipbuilding, culture, tourism and food industries.
Main Achievements : The European representatives visited the new office of EUPIC and afterwards paid a separate visits to the 3D Painting Innovation Service Centre, the International Graphene Innovation Centre and the Qingdao Sunred Electronic Equipment CO., LTD. Memoranda of Understanding was signed between Qingdao Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, EUPIC (Qingdao) and Knowledge for Business (Italy); with Kama Innovative Territorial Industrial Cluster (Russia) and with Montpellier Mediterranean Metropole (France).
