Bread is a staple item in any pantry, and in the same way, our corporate partners are a stable, annual source of giving and volunteerism for our food rescue and food bank program.

PHOTO CREDIT: Stevie B. Photography More than 2,000 guests feast at our largest annual fundraiser, Grillin' for Food Gatherers. Mission StatemenT Food Gatherers, a 501(c)(3) organization, is the food rescue and food bank program serving Washtenaw County, Michigan. We exist to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community.

40,000+ food recipients 5,000+ volunteers each year 150 partner non-profit programs 1,000+ food donors 1,000+ public tours Reasons to Give INVEST IN YOUR COMMUNITY, one plate at a time. By fighting hunger, you re doing more than filling stomachs, you re: giving a child the ability to learn, saving a mother from the choice between dinner and medicine and providing jobs for at-risk youth. ENGAGE YOUR EMPLOYEES We offer a variety of group volunteer activities. Make a difference in our community while building team cohesion, boosting company morale and increasing motivation. STRATEGICALLY GROW YOUR CUSTOMER BASE Food Gatherers is more than one organization. We are a network of community do-gooders, and our reach is both broad and diverse. Market your brand alongside ours with exposure to thousands of potential customers. 10,000+ financial supporters Food Gatherers is part of the top 1% of charities nationwide that have achieved Charity Navigator s highest 4-star rating for ten consecutive years. There are many worthwhile charities out there, but Food Gatherers feeds people and half of them are children, which is very important to me. They take care of our community in the most basic way they fight hunger. I think Food Gatherers uses the money and the food they receive wisely, and I am so happy to be able to help support their efforts. JULIE DUNNING Dunning Toyota
