He or she must have the appropriate qualifications to carry out these activities e.g: Trained and authorized to energize and de-energize, ground and tag circuits and equipment according to applicable safety standards. Trained or instructed according to the latest safety standards regarding the maintenance and use of the appropriate safety equipment. Trained in rendering first aid. Problem Diagnostic buffer offline evaluation 1 Problem The SCOUT device diagnosis can be used to display the event texts and appropriate corrections for the entries in the SIMOTION diagnostic buffer by selecting the button Event help. This, however, only functions if you can access the diagnostic buffer in the target device using SCOUT Online. How to proceed if only an export of the diagnostic buffer resp. only an event ID is available? This FAQ describes how to view the online help for a certain event without accessing the SIMOTION diagnostic buffer. Note: As of version SIMOTION V4.1 SP2 you can also find in offline mode the help about a diagnosis event directly in the SIMOTION SCOUT online help. 2 Solution 2.1 Determine the Event ID 2.1.1 From the diagnostic buffer The help regarding the event ID is displayed by clicking on the button Event help in the diagnostic buffer. The event ID is then displayed in the online help. 2.1.2 From the diagnostic buffer export An export of the diagnostic buffer which has been created from the diagnostic buffer via Save as contains the following list of the events stored:...
