Newsletter Issue 2 2016 2107 September October 2016 Tour the Koraleski CAB Lab UNO s Mammel Hall Thursday, October 6, 2016 5:30 p.m. Join the UNO Women s Club for a tour of the Jack & Stephanie Koraleski Commerce and Applied Behavioral (CAB) Laboratory at the College of Business Administration. You will receive an overview of the CAB Lab and have a chance to participate in demonstrations of some of the testing that takes place in it. Dedicated in 2014, the CAB Lab is a state of the art research facility that enables diverse experimental research with immense practical implications. The lab provides researchers with the tools to capture and analyze rich neurophysiological data by combining eye tracking, pupil dilation, facial expression, skin conductance (GSR) and electroencephalography (EEG). The lab also features a mobile component, which can be used in field research. After learning more about the CAB Lab and the work it does, we'll retire to Spirit World in Aksarben Village for refreshments & libations. The main mission of the UNOWC is to support scholarships for non traditional students. If you want to claim the donation on your income tax, please write one check for dues to the UNOWC and a separate one for the scholarship to the NU Foundation. By writing two checks and sending both to the UNOWC s campus mailbox, the treasurer can give credit to the club for your UNOWC scholarship donations made to the NU Foundation. When she receives your checks, she will forward the scholarship checks to the Foundation for processing. This will allow you to claim your donation on your income tax. If you write only ONE check to the UNOWC for both dues and a scholarship donation, be aware that the UNOWC is not a 501(c)(3) entity, but the Foundation is. Make membership check payable to UNOWC.
