FORMATION BULLET Reminder: There is No Overnight Parking from 2:00am-6:00am now thru April 1 st. Reminder to watch for deer while driving, especially at dawn and dusk, if you see one expect to see more. There has been an increase in scam reports. The Sheriff s Office receives reports of scams on nearly a daily basis. if you receive a call that you feel is a possible scam don t give out any information and report the incident by calling 920-391-7450, there is also on-line reporting at the Sheriff s Office web site. We are still getting complaints about people receiving calls from the IRS and Public Service stating if their bills aren t paid, they will go to jail. These are scams as the IRS and Public Service do not operate that way. The Brown County Sheriff s Office Benevolent Association is currently doing the annual fundraiser so you may get a call from them. Thank You for your support. Just a reminder to keep all vehicles, homes, and outbuildings locked. We may trust our neighbors, but can we always trust the stranger that finds their way into the village. DON T be a soft target for criminal activity. It is important to remember to call in any type of suspicious activity, traffic complaint or any incident needing an officer to respond at the time of the incident is occurring. With the recent string of thefts we have had some incidents that have not been called in when they happen. The sooner the activity gets called in the sooner we can get officers in the area and hopefully get this problem to stop. The number to call is 920-391-7450. If it s an emergency always dial 911. The voicemail in the DEO office is now set up. We will be checking the voicemail throughout our shift. If you need an officer to come out please continue to use the non-emergency number listed above or below or 911 for an emergency. If there are any drug issues that you notice throughout the village and you would like to report them please call the Brown County Drug Task Force tip line: 920-437-DRUG(3784). The tips that come in from the village will get sent and viewed by both DEOs. We can then follow up on the tips. http://www.familywatchdog.us/ http://doc.wi.gov/community-resources/wi-sex-offender-registry 5
If anyone has a police matter that isn t an emergency but you would like an officer to come out please use the non-emergency number: 920-391-7450. This is the easiest way to either get the Denmark DEOs or if they are not available you will get an available county officer. This also helps the Denmark DEOs track the type of calls and call volume. This is what we use to make our plans on how to patrol the village. If there is an emergency that needs law enforcement action please call 911.
