Albany State University Police Department, Albany, Georgia Assistant Chief of Police-Chief Investigator, 2007-2011 The Assistant Chief of Police assumes the responsibilities of Chief of Police in the absence of the Chief. In this capacity, the Assistant Chief of Police serves as the secondary safety officer in the operation and implementation of campus safety procedures, as well as in the administration of the campus Police Department. Albany Dougherty Drug Unit, Albany, Georgia Interdiction Officer/Narcotics Agent/K-9 Handler, 2000-2001 Patrol the Albany/Dougherty area streets and highways for potential drug violators. My unit conducted raids, investigations and calls to suspected drug locations to apprehend drug violators. Provide K-9 assistance for the community and other agencies when needed. Conduct Dog and Pony Presentations for the local community and outside communities. 1. Help remove several dangerous persons out of neighborhoods with drug issues. Dougherty County Sheriff s Office, Albany, Georgia Watch Commander (Captain), 1995-2000 The Watch Commander post was one of four Captains positions tasked with managing an 800 to 1000 inmate population. Meals, medical, mail, discipline, visitation were some of many daily functions required to operate the Jail. Monitor Male and Female inmates. Supervise Security Personnel.
