2016 INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES PROVIDING ACCESS TO WHAT YOUR BUSINESS NEEDS

LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN Dear Friends and Colleagues, I am honored to take on the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, The Voice of Business in Northern Virginia. As this organization celebrates its 90th Anniversary, one thing that has been extremely clear to me is that the Fairfax Chamber is the preeminent Northern Virginia membership organization for businesses to grow through relationship building with stakeholders and through engagement in partnerships throughout the Metropolitan Washington Region. Our mission is to offer business development opportunities to organizations interested in growth through knowledge, access, and influence in Fairfax County, Northern Virginia, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the Metropolitan Washington Region. The Fairfax Chamber leads the business community by: engaging in thought leadership; strengthening industry knowledge; advocating for business positions; and supporting key partnerships. As we look to the years ahead, we ll focus on making an impact in areas key to moving the Northern Virginia business community into the future. If we are to experience decades of success and growth like we have seen in the past, we must become the preeminent leader on regional economic advancement issues, including diversification of our economy, transportation improvements, and workforce development. I thank and welcome all the new members of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee who have stepped up to volunteer their time to lead and advocate for our business community. I am humbled to serve as your Chairman and honored to build upon the successes of our distinguished past chairs by working together with you and your businesses to continue to move Northern Virginia into the future. Sincerely, Mitchell D. Weintraub 2015-2016 Chairman, Board of Directors, Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce Managing Partner, Cordia Partners INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES WWW.FAIRFAXCHAMBER.ORG
