Our Team Approach Heller Search assigns a team made up of the following roles to every search project. CEO 9 MANAGING DIRECTOR The Managing Director takes the lead on client communication, ensures that the search team meets its major milestones, and guarantees a full slate of highly qualified candidates. Along with her project leadership role, the Managing Director markets the role to her networks. Martha Heller, CEO, consults with our clients to ensure the position profile aligns with their business goals. She markets the search to her networks and promotes it in The Heller Report, a unique social media vehicle that mobilizes our community of 20,000 IT executive subscribers. ASSOCIATE RECRUITER The Associate Recruiter conducts industry and talent market research and provides support that allows the rest of the team to stay focused on candidate development. He or she schedules candidate phone screens and interviews, coordinates travel, and distributes candidate profiles and search status reports. RECRUITING PARTNER The Recruiting Partner spends all of her time in the talent pool. She develops candidates through our referral networks and through targeted original research. The Recruiting Partner develops deep knowledge of each candidate s background, and can clearly articulate how their skills map to the position requirements.

ABOUT MARTHA HELLER CEO Martha Heller is the CEO of Heller Search. Prior to launching the company in 2010, Martha spent five years as Managing Director of the IT Leadership Practice at ZRG Partners, a global executive search firm. Martha has recruited hundreds of CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, enterprise architects, and every other imaginable senior technology role. She has earned trusted advisor status with technology and talent acquisition leaders at top companies around the country. Martha is a leading industry voice on the evolution of the CIO role, and has written two books on the subject: The CIO Paradox, and Be the Business: CIOs in the New Era of IT. She has been a weekly contributor to CIO.com since 1999, and was the founder of IDG's CIO Executive Council. Martha speaks regularly to industry groups on the trends and challenges in technology leadership, and Target Research recently named Martha a top influencer of U.S. CIOs. 10

Heller Search Differentiators LARGER FIRMS HELLER SEARCH ASSOCIATES Typically assign most of their searches to junior associates; managing directors have very little involvement in the search. WHO DOES THE WORK? Managing Directors are actively involved in all executive searches from start to completion. Focus their top recruiting efforts on the CEO and board of director searches they are involved in. HOW IMPORTANT IS YOUR SEARCH TO THIS FIRM? Our niche is specifically in IT leadership roles. Your search is our top priority. Lengthy hands-off lists can severely limit their access to the talent pool for your search. And, candidates they have submitted for roles at other clients are also off-limits. WHAT ARE THE LIMITS ON THE TALENT POOL? As a boutique firm we have a smaller number of clients with little impact on our access to a broad talent pool. Rely on their databases to identify candidates, which are filled with job seekers actively on the market, and who have sent their resumes to every recruiter, including Heller Search. HOW DO WE FIND CANDIDATES? We target highly qualified professionals currently employed at relevant organizations - passive candidates - in addition to active job seekers. Our media engagement with the IT community means our networks are fresh. Include administration charges as high as 10%, in addition to their fee. ARE THERE HIDDEN FEES? Heller Search does not add administrative fees. 13
