volunteering, please contact Michelle Walters. Conference Gala and Auction: Items Needed Now is the time to begin thinking about the fantastic items you can donate to our Gala Auction! All funds go directly to travel g rants to increase opportunities for the membership. We have two new auction events that we hope you'll love! Wine Tree: Donate a bottle of wine ranging in amount from $10- $50. Tickets are sold for $10 each for a random bottle of wine. Every ticket holder gets a bottle, but you could get a $50 bottle of wine for $10! My Favorite Book: Donate a copy of your all- time favorite book to the auction, and share the literary love! Items can be brought to the conference, or you can arrange transport with any of your leadership team members. Questions about the Gala and Auction? Contact Machelle Allman. Local Highlights We're excited to bring members from throughout the region to the great city of Boise. Boise has much to offer attendees, and our Local Arrangements Chair is hard at work to share Boise with NAFSAns. A few highlights to look forward to: Basque Museum - Did you know that Boise has one of the largest https://ui.constantcontact.com/visualeditor/visual_editor_preview.jsp?agent.uid=1121349310832&format=html&printframe=true 3/5

Basque communities in the U.S.? Capital City Public Market & Boise Farmers Market - Boise has two public markets on Saturdays where you can find local food, art, and much more. Greenbelt - A 25 mile trail along the Boise Riverwhere you can bike, run, or take a walk during the conference. Hop on the Greenbelt right from the conference hotel! Table Rock - Enjoy a good hike and have a beautiful view of Boise at the top! The Boise River Greenbelt is one of Boise's most beloved parks. The tree- lined pathway follows the river through the heart of the city and provides scenic views, wildlife habitat and pedestrian access to many of the city's popular riverside parks. Questions about Boise? Contact our Local Arrangements Chair, Kumi Takashima from Boise State University. We look forward to spending time in beautiful Boise this fall!
