PRESS RELEASE Christopher Protsman Chief of Police Released: May 28, 2018 POLICE BLOTTER Monday, May 21, 2018 1136 An officer was sent to Goodwill Industries at 1970 E. Dorothy Ln. on the report of a theft. Jerry W. Odon, Jr. b/m/53, was arrested and transported to the KPD jail for processing. 2018-23888 1640 An officer was dispatched to Meijer, 4075 Wilmington Pk, on the report of a shoplifter in custody. Melissa Martin (W/F/27) was issued a summons for theft. 2018-23950 1624 An officer witnessed a vehicle nearly strike a motorcyclist while in traffic in the 1700 block of Woodman. Betty Jo Osterfeld, w/f/61, was arrested for OVI and tested.100 on the Intoxiliyzer. 18-23948 1911 An officer conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation near 3108 Ackerman Blvd. Rashele R. Flippo (W/F/32) was arrested and charged with Possession of Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments, and issued a summons for Failure to Comply. She was also arrested on a Xenia warrant and was transported to KPD Jail without incident. 2018-23979 0130 An officer conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation. Clarence E. Nikki Brant, w/f/18, was arrested on a warrant and was also cited for possession of Drug Abuse Instruments. 18-15183 0016 An officer conducted a traffic stop for speed Counting Line Road. Eliana O. Palmer (W/F/24) was arrested for OVI and was transported to the Kettering Jail where she refused to provide a breath sample. 2018-24228 0235 An officer responded to Meijer for a possible intoxicated driver. Dylan R. Beeson (W/M/21) was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. 2018-24249 Wednesday, May 23, 2018 0940 An officer was dispatched to Ritter s Ice Cream, Wilmington Pike, to assist a detective who was with a suspicious man. Kanan B. Pittman, (W/M/22), had an active warrant from Beavercreek, was arrested, and transported to the Kettering PD Jail. 2018-24298 1131 An officer was working the Click It or Ticket and made a traffic stop at Wilmington/Stroop for speed. Joseph E. James, (W/M/34) had an active warrant for his arrest from MCSO. James was arrested and transported to the Kettering PD Jail. 2018-24316 1857 Multiple crews were dispatched to 2628 California on a disturbance. Earl D. Hipsher, W/M/51, was found to have an MCSO Probation violation warrant and was arrested for the confirmed warrant. 2018-24403 1433 Officers went to KMC on a warrant detail and took custody of Ami Jo Ripley, w/f 41, on our original charge warrants for child endangering and obstructing official business. 18-24044 1516 Officers located Shaun A. Moreland, w/m/26, at 3945 Parliament Pl. after being advised by a resident he had warrant. Moreland was arrested on the confirmed warrant through Butler Co. SO for child support. 18-24374 1709 An officer located and arrested David Allen, w/m/27, on a confirmed

warrant through Beavercreek PD. 18-24386 1731 Crews were sent to KMC on a subject being released and having warrants. Nathin A. Holbrook, w/m/27, on our original warrant for child endangering and our FTC warrant. 18-24044 & 18-12875 2022 An officer was dispatched to WPAFB, Gate 12A, for a warrant transfer. Jeremy W. Rose, W/M/43, was arrested for a KMC FTC warrant. 2018-16262 2354 An officer conducted a traffic stop at McDonald s (2901 Wilmington Pike). Timothy J. Jones (W/M/28) was wanted out of DPD for Violating a Protection Order and was arrested. Jasmine C. Weldling (W/F/27) had three entered warrants Forgery (x2) and Harassment of Inmate with Bodily Substance, of an inmate. She and Jones were arrested without incident. 2018-24445 Thursday, May 24, 2018 0855 Officers were dispatched to the area of Greenmont School on a suspicious subject call. Jonathan Jacob Hazelbaker, (W/M/23) was arrested for three warrants from Xenia and Greene County SO and transported to the Kettering PD Jail. 2018-24520 1730 Officers were sent to the Chick-fil-a on Stroop on an intoxicated person. Smith-Hammond, Casey K. w/f/36 was cited for disorderly conduct. 18-24585 0238 An officer made contact with two suspicious subjects in the area of Wilmington and Smithville. Dustin C. Thompson (W/M/28) had an active warrant through Xenia PD for nonsupport and was arrested for obstruction and the confirmed warrant. Shannon Albrektson (W/F/31) was arrested on a warrant and felony drug possession. 2018-24653 0346 An officer conducted a traffic stop at Dixie at Stroop and found the driver, Kathryn E. Gray (B/F/23) driving without a valid license. She also had an active warrant through Huber Heights PD for DUS and was issued a citation. 2018-24661 Summons Myatuk J. Miller (W/F/17) for Drug Possession (marijuana) 2018-24631 Summons Caleb M. O Connor (W/M/16) for Possession of Tobacco Product 2018-24631

Friday, May 25, 2018 0738 An officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot at 1315 Devon. Melissa M. Brooks, (W/F/37), was issued summonses for drug paraphernalia. 2018-24670 1255h An officer stopped a vehicle for obstructed plates. Thomas S. Lamb, (WM/33), had active warrants for Dayton, Springfield, and Franklin. Lamb was transported to the Kettering PD Jail. 2018-24707 1610 Crews were sent to the Budget Inn, Room 273, on a non-breather. Michelle Cardiff, w/f/38, was cited for public intoxication and possession of drug abuse instruments. 18-24739 1616 An officer made a traffic stop for equipment violations. Russel D. Keith w/m/22 was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. 18-24740 1854 An officer made a traffic stop for an equipment violation. Laura M. Mabeltini, w/f/31, was cited for possession of drug abuse instruments. 18-24756 1945 An officer made a traffic stop on Wilmington at Devon for a moving violation. Travis J. Baker w/m/28, was arrested on a child support warrant through Warren County SO. Donald R. Kelly III w/m/35, was cited for possession of drug abuse instruments. 18-24773 Saturday, May 26, 2018 0908 An officer was dispatched to Miami Valley Hospital ER to pick up Jason L. Weikert, (W/M/40), on a Kettering Municipal Court FTC warrant. Weikert was transported to the Kettering PD Jail without incident. 2018-14255 1710 An officer stopped a vehicle after confirming that the driver had warrants through DPD for Rape and Gross Sexual Imposition. Chay Carmi Lavoz Lane b/m/39 was arrested. 18-24913 2016 Officers were sent to 3217 Wilmington on a disturbance. Jordan L. Hayes b/m/21 was charged with felony DV. 18-24942

1532 An officer made a traffic stop at S. Dixie and the north city limits for a marked lanes violation. Raymond L. King Sr, b/m/39 was arrested on a DPD warrant and transported to KPD. 18-24896 1849 An officer made contact and arrested William D. Cowgar, w/m/48, on confirmed warrants through MCSO for unlawful sexual contact with a minor (4 counts) and sales to underage person (2 counts). 18-24929 1924 An officer witnessed a subject walking down the center of Wilmington Pike at Jaybee. Brian K. Pertee, w/m/50, was arrested on a FTC warrant through Kettering court and cited for marijuana possession, and was transported to KPD jail. 18-19242 2308 Crews responded to the Buckin Donkey, 2866 S. Dixie, on a disturbance involving an intoxicated male. Joshua K. Collins (W/M/28) was arrested for disorderly conduct (public intoxication) and transported to the Kettering Jail. 2018-24970 0155 An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2900 block of Wilmington for an equipment violation. Donald L. Green (W/M/74) had an active traffic warrant through Dayton PD. Green was arrested on the confirmed warrant and transported to the Kettering Jail. 2018-25006 0513 Officers responded to Dorothy and Ridgeway for a subject sleeping under the bridge. Robert M. Barrett (W/M/31) was arrested for disorderly conduct (public intoxication) and transported to the Kettering Jail. 2018-25024 Sunday, May 27, 2018 0833 Officers went to 2509 Timber Oak and arrested Paul C. Houston, (B/M/58), on a Kettering Municipal Court warrant. Houston was transported to the Kettering PD Jail without incident. 2018-39709 1604 An officer initiated a traffic stop at 2115 E. Dorothy Lane. Camille M. Mudd, B/F/29, had an entered FTA warrant from OSP for OVI. Mudd was arrested without incident. 2018-25079 1835 An officer initiated a traffic stop at Wilmington and Dorothy. James B. Mullins, W/M/28, was cited for no driver s license and issued a summons for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernaliamarijuana. Nancy L. Storer, W/F/28, was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia. 2018-25107
