MSCA Calls Individual Fellowships (IF) Funds an experienced researcher for 12-24 months. Deadline: 12 Sep 2018 Research & Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) Funds staff exchanges between countries and sectors. Deadline: 02 Apr 2019 Innovative Training Networks (ITN) Funds joint research and training projects for early stages researchers. Deadline: 15 Jan 2019 COFUND Offers additional funding for new or existing regional, national and international programmes. Deadline: 27 Sep 2018

MSCA-Individual Fellowships Deadlines: 12 Sep 2018 11 Sep 2019 Fully funds experienced researchers for up to 24 months (European fellowships) or 36 months (Global Fellowships) to carry out a research project. Part-time fellowships can be requested by experienced researchers, except during the outgoing phase of the Global Fellowships.

General Rule: cannot apply for a fellowship in a country where you have lived for >12 months in the 3 years before the call deadline Relaxed Mobility Rule: cannot apply for a fellowship in a country where you have lived for >3 years in the 5 years before the call deadline

MSCA-Individual Fellowships Types of Individual Fellowships European Fellowships (max. 24 months) STANDARD: General Mobility Rule (12 months in 3 yrs.) CAREER RESTART Researcher took career break > 12 months before deadline Relaxed Mobility Rule (36 months in 5 yrs.) REINTEGRATION EU citizen or long-term resident (>5 years) living & working outside EU can return to do a EU-IF Relaxed Mobility Rule SOCIETY & ENTERPRISE (S&E) Researcher carries out fellowship in the non-academic sector (company, charity etc) Relaxed Mobility Rule

MSCA-Individual Fellowships Types of Individual Fellowships Global Fellowships (max. 36 months) Researcher can go to a host outside of the EU for 12-24 months. Mandatory return to the EU host organisation for at least 12 months. Must be a EU citizen or long-term resident. General Mobility Rule applies to non-eu country only.

New Features in MSCA-IF Career Restart: the duration of Career Restart European Fellowships is between 12 and 36 months. Global Fellowships: Fellows now have the possibility to spend up to 3 months at their European host before going abroad. Part-time work: Fellows have the opportunity to pursue supplementary activities in parallel to their MSCA fellowship. Widening Fellowships: Fellows applying for an MSCA European Fellowship in socalled Widening countries have a second chance through Widening Fellowships under the Work Programme "Spreading Excellence and Widening Participation. Career Restart Panel & Reintegration Panel will now have a higher chance of success due to budget increase.

MSCA-Innovative Training Networks Deadline: 15 January 2019 Consortium develops a joint research and training project with an organisation(s) from another country Implemented by early stage researchers (pre PhD & less than 4 years research experience).

MSCA-Innovative Training Networks Participating Organisations Beneficiary Sign grant agreement, claim costs, receive funding Contribute directly to the research, transfer of knowledge and training activities Recruit, supervise, host and train early stage researchers. Based in member states/associated countries & TC eligible for funding Partner Organisation (optional participants) Do not sign grant agreement or claim costs directly Providing additional research & transferable skills Hosts ESRs on secondments Can be established anywhere in the world.
