Session & Speaker Information Partnerships and Use Agreements - Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation has been able to build award winning facilities through Partnerships. In addition, these facilities see maximum use through cooperative use agreements. Join Lanny Goodwin, Director of Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation, as he describes how these partnerships were formed and how they have survived. Grantsmanship 101 Dr. Victoria S. Lake is the Director of Market Research and Community Development for the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation. Her ability to seek out grant monies and secure them is a critical part of her job. Join Dr. Lake as she takes us through the grant writing process to help maximize every available dollar. Maximizing Your Resources- George Brogden, Community Services Division Director for Germantown, Tennessee will explains how his city maximized all available resources. When things got tough, Germantown found a way to increase services while reducing expenses. Join George as he shares how they continue to maximize their resources to increase services. Maximizing Your Staff through Teambuilding- Doug Bataille, Director of Knox County Parks and Recreation, will share his success with building a good team. Successful team building is the key to maximizing staff productivity and Doug will assist with doing so within your own organization. Hit the links at the Par 72, 18-hole golf course, or hike some of the 34-miles of trails at the park. Have a valid TN fishing license? Fish the 345-acre Fall Creek Falls Lake, home of two state-record catches. Up for a swim? The park offers an Olympic-sized swimming pool and of course the nightly networking events will be filled with fun competitions and games.
