Agricultural Learning Center Charitable Funds (non-endowed) The advisory group of the Future Farmers of America (Friends of FFA) local chapter has undertaken the financing and construction of an agricultural sciences learning center that will serve the high school, community college and equestrian organizations of Muscatine County. Alexander G. Clark Foundation Project Fund This fund is for the intent of seeking grants and donations for the enhancement and maintenance of the Alexander G. Clark House structure and the respective Clark legacy. Askren Family Advised Fund This fund was started to accept donations in memory of Walden Askren. The family can continue to contribute to the Fund for any and all of their charitable activities. Donor advised are charitable giving accounts that are designed as an accessible, simple, and less expensive alternative to private foundations. Atalissa Betterment Committee The group s mission is to improve the community to the best of their abilities by assisting area families and individuals in need and supporting the volunteer fire fighters, senior citizens, West Liberty/Atalissa Food Pantry and others as determined. Bloomington Grange Members of Bloomington Grange formed this fund to promote learning and give assistance to individuals in crisis.

Blue Zone Project Muscatine To support all aspects of the fulfillment of the organization s mission that Muscatine will be a community that enables and encourages its residents to live long, healthy, happy and productive lives by providing the infrastructure, education, opportunities and activities necessary for people to live a healthy lifestyle. Boat Club Environmental The purpose of this fund is to promote boating and water sports in general and to instill among its members an interest in boating; cultivating the art of sportsmanship, improving environmental integrity and expanding its facilities to better serve the public s Mississippi River experience. Crossroads Foundation Charitable Fund The purpose of this fund is to provide on-going financial support to Crossroads, Inc. which works with adults with disabilities to provide greater self-sufficiency. Coins for Christmas The purpose of this fund is to support youth in collecting coins to aide those that are homeless. Collitz Fund for the Homeless Through her bequest to the Community Foundation, Mrs. Collitz established this fund to assist those who were homeless because of financial hardships beyond their control. Hilda E. Collitz Habitat for Humanity Through her bequest to the Community Foundation, Mrs. Collitz established this fund to assist Habitat for Humanity in the building of homes.

Community Improvement Action Team Funds: A public charity that makes grants for community improvements for public enjoyment. Muscatine Boat Show Committee Muscatine Community Gardens Cross Country Programs of Muscatine Schools This program challenges young boys to grow into young men by instilling character and work ethic through training, competition, and the many diverse experiences provided by the Muscatine School Cross Country Program. Deb and Keith Porter Advised Fund This fund was created to broaden the philanthropic interest of the donors and benefit the donors charitable causes. Doc Wester Shoe Fund This fund was set up to purchase shoes for needy children attending Jefferson Elementary School. Domestic Violence Shelter (MCSA) The purpose of the Fund is to support the mission of the Muscatine Domestic Violence Shelter to empower individuals and families to lead and enjoy violence free lives. Downtown Action Alliance A group formed for historic preservation through design, promotions, and business improvements in the downtown area of Muscatine. Edummersive Worlds Education Provide one of the bridges between traditional classroom and virtual experiences to assist educators in enhancing their courses for students. Franklin 5th Scholarship Provides college scholarships to Franklin Elementary School students.

Friends of Harmony Place The purpose of the fund is to provide services, complete projects, and/or support conveniences for the betterment of the lives of the residents of Harmony Place; beyond those costs covered by their access to traditional funding sources. Friends of Muscatine China This fund offers the people of Muscatine and China with similar interests, opportunities to exchange friendship, education and commerce to understand one another as individuals, as members of their community, as citizens of their country, and as part of the family of nations. Friends of Muscatine Historic Preservation The purpose of this fund is to preserve, restore, advance, and promote historic structures, neighborhoods, parks, and works of art in Muscatine County. Friends of the Musser Public Library The mission of the Musser Public Library is to instill a passion for reading, learning and discovery by providing materials, technology and creative, innovative programming. This Friends group has a vision to assist in empowering the Muscatine community to engage in a creative, intellectual life by supporting the Musser Public Library through volunteer work and monetarily. Friends of the Old Barn This fund was established to preserve, maintain, and operate the former Muscatine County Farm barn. Friendship Education This mission of the Organization is to manage and implement the collection, production and preservation of mutually beneficial educational materials for the benefit of Muscatine, Iowa, State of Iowa, China, United States and the World. Grow Muscatine Grow Muscatine is a nonprofit organization focused on enabling Muscatine s prosperous growth and ensuring the positive stories about the Muscatine Community are told to a variety of audiences. GMG Foundation Charitable Fund for Robert and JoAnn Jensen The purpose of this fund is to provide financial support for projects of the GMG Community School District and scholarships for graduating GMG Community School students. Historic Downtown West Liberty Charitable Fund The purpose of this fund is to promote historic West Liberty as a place for the education, pleasure, business and welfare of the people of the West Liberty area. The Historic Downtown West Liberty Task Force hopes to preserve, repair, and sustain the historic properties in the area. Jubilee Community Center The Jubilee Community Center provides a safe, wholesome gathering place and appropriate activities for people, youth and old alike, especially children with special needs. Joan U. Axel Charitable Fund The purpose of the fund is to provide future financial support for the donor s charitable interests through the purchase of life insurance with the Foundation as owner of the policy. Keep Muscatine Beautiful Litter prevention and beautification programs that improve the community environment are the intentions of this group s fund. Kent Nutrition Group Youth Nutrition Charitable Fund KNG Gives The purpose of this fund is to provide a new source of grant funding for nonprofit organizations in Muscatine and Louisa Counties who work to support youth nutrition. Laundry Love Designated Charitable Fund This fund has been established for the purchase of washer and dryer fees at designated laundromat s throughout Muscatine to ensure people in need have access through these facilities for the cleaning of clothes and bedding.

Louisa-Muscatine Music Boosters Project Fund The purpose of the fund is to serve the needs of our student musicians and music faculty, and to support and promote music education excellence throughout the Louisa-Muscatine School District in grades K-12. Maurice A. and Donna J. Reed Advised Charitable Fund To benefit charitable causes as advised by Mrs. Donna J. Reed. Muscatine Center for Social Action (MCSA) This fund supports the mission of the Muscatine Center for Social Action. Muscatine Art Center Support Foundation Charitable Fund Created by the Muscatine Art Support Foundation Board, this charitable fund supports the ongoing work of the Muscatine Art Center. Muscatine County Arts Council A charitable fund established by Muscatine County Arts Council to promote the visual and performing arts throughout Muscatine County. Individuals will learn to develop a strong work ethic, self-control, discipline, and physical conditioning in a positive way. Muscatine County Fair This fund was established to support the Muscatine County Fairgrounds and the restoration, enhancement or replacement of the buildings equipment and property. It is intended to grow into an endowment with gifts being accepted in perpetuity. Muscatine Center for Business Development The purpose of the Muscatine Center for Business Development is to develop and provide consultation, support, and resources for individuals who desire to start, grow or enhance business in Muscatine, Iowa and its surrounding community.

Muscatine Cultural Alliance Artists, musicians, writers, historians, performers and their supporters in Muscatine County have formed a charitable fund and an endowment to collect, invest, and award grants to support the arts and cultural organizations of Muscatine County. Muscatine Diabetes Walk Project Fund This fund is to support, empower and encourage Muscatine County area residents living with Diabetes to live long, healthy, happy and productive lives. Muscatine Dog Park Project Fund This fund is to support the development of an off-leash dog park in the Muscatine area as recognized through the Community Improvement Projects Initiative. Muscatine Financial Literacy Coalition Designed to educate and improve financial literacy of Muscatine County residents. Muscatine Historical Preservation Fund This group supports the preservation and renovation of downtown historic structures. Muscatine Japan Youth Exchange This fund supports intercultural learning experiences for young people; promotes social and personal development through life-long connections; encourages intercultural understanding of Japan s history, language and lives; and advocates tolerance and acceptance of cultures different from our own. Muscatine Levee Charitable Fund The purpose of this fund is to proactively support improvements to the Muscatine Island Levee District for the continued protection from potential flooding effecting Muscatine County residents. Muscatine Orchestra Boosters This is a parent support group for Orchestra activities in the Muscatine Community School District that supports education and social welfare through Orchestra music.

Muscatine Pearls of Progress Fund The mission is to provide financial assistance to implement, enhance and fulfill the four areas of focus for the project which are the HNI Community Center and Musser Public Library, the Westside Trail, the Community Dog Park, and the Deep Lakes Park Cabins. Muscatine Second Saturday Project Fund This fund has been established to increase downtown Muscatine awareness and commerce while providing a spectacular event for the public. The charitable intent is to provide a free, family-oriented event series featuring art and live music. Muscatine Soapbox Derby Project Fund This fund has been established to support the planning, marketing, and race day operations of the Derby. The Soapbox Derby Project s mission is to bring people into downtown Muscatine and raise money for the local STEM organizations. Muscatine Symphony Orchestra The mission is to enrich the cultural life of the Greater Muscatine Community by presenting and maintaining symphonic music of the highest quality and by providing comprehensive music education opportunities to the Muscatine area. Muscatine Trails Charitable Fund Local citizens formed this fund to accept donations to improve local trails. NAEIR Supply Program This fund supports a program that provides in-kind gifts to local nonprofit organizations. Pearl City Lighthouse This is a religious foundation to help youth and young adults (aged 15 24) by providing help to complete their education and achieve economic self-sufficiency through access to a safe home environment, support services, meaningful employment and community service. Pearl City Pavilion This fund was formed to investigate the possibility of a community cultural center in Muscatine.

Pearl City Players This fund was formed to support the Pearl City Players and for the promotion of performing arts in the Muscatine community through performances, classes, workshops, exhibitions and mentoring. Power to Save A fund formed to accept donations for the purchase of defibrillators for schools in Muscatine County. Robert & JoAnn Jensen Advised Charitable Fund The Jensen s formed this fund for the advancement of charitable causes in Muscatine County. Rotary Club of Muscatine, Organization & Special Projects This fund was formed for the purpose of developing, operating, and advancing the Rotary Club s humanitarian service, high ethical stands in all vocations and building goodwill and peace in the world. Riding for Success The purpose of the Riding for Success Charitable fund is to provide the service of therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, in the Muscatine community to improve the lives of children and adults with special needs through equine facilitated activities. Second Saturday Project Fund With a mission to increase the downtown Muscatine awareness and commerce, this fund is intended to support spectacular events for the public! STEM Matters Robots & More This fund assists the organization which utilizes FIRST robotics teams to build skills and capabilities in youth through its activities. Toyota of Muscatine Advised Fund This fund was created by the management of Toyota of Muscatine along with a corporate match in support of the charitable interests of its collective employee base.

Underserved Dental Program This fund provides dental services for Muscatine County s underserved population. Vision Mission Assistance The purpose of this fund is to provide vision care through vision screenings and corrective lenses to the disadvantaged or impoverished throughout the world. Weed Park Bandstand A fund formed to accept donations for the restoration and maintenance of the bandstand in Weed Park. Weed Park Zoo Garden A local Master Gardener has a plan to form a garden around the log cabin and former animal area in Weed Park. West Liberty Area Arts Council Donations to this fund will be used to develop, enhance and promote art appreciation and awareness for the benefit of West Liberty and surrounding areas. West Liberty Chamber This fund is for the purpose of improving the business climate and quality of life in West Liberty and the surrounding community. West Liberty Youth Dream Catchers The purpose of this fund is to empower children through mentoring and scholarships to attain a post-secondary education. They wish to give opportunity to students that will be the first in their family to attend college, and provide them with skills they need to succeed. West Liberty Fund, LLC This fund consists of lots in West Liberty Park which will be developed and sold to promote economic development in West Liberty. West Liberty LULAC Citizenship Initiative Project Fund This fund has been established to provide support to West Liberty immigrant families; With the focus on building trusting relationships, integration, education and leadership.
